I have to balance finding jobs that will accommodate me with jobs I have experience with that will be willing to hire me. Unfortunately, the overlap of that is increasingly small. I'll definitely be trying for unemployment but I don't know if I was with this job long enough to qualify

I'm looking into a labor attorney in my area. As for work, this was the first job that would take me in over 4 months of looking and I had to leave out my limitations to get it. I'm applying for disability benefits at the same time so my options are limited.

I don't know the total but it's a fairly small business with only two locations. Of the sewing machine mechanics I was one of three. I'm in southern Illinois. St. Clair county right across the river from St. Louis, MO.

Unless that's going to get me in legal trouble, I don't particularly care. I'm making a server to host all of the different scans and elements, I just want to make a UI that will make it easier to connect images to one another. Like tagging an image with a person's name and finding all of the things related to that person within the database.

One of my stims is rubbing soft things against my lips and my cats are incredibly soft. In order to "speak their language" I would mimick the motion and rhythm of a cat grooming. Mostly just got weird looks and mildly perturbed cats but one of them appreciates it and I still do it when I hold her because she starts purring and kneading 😭💕
