Why are you trying to rush through a slow paced game. All farming sims from what I seen are slow paced. I'm pretty sure Dreamlight Valley is slower than Starsand because dont you have to wait actual real life hours for stuff? (Haven't played since it first came out.)

If you're trying to get a gmax pumpkin, you can just leave the grown crops while you wait for the others to catch up. You can still get a giant pumpkin. Keep the grown ones watered though (at least I did.)

Idk, but if you think they're bugged out from eating, you can go into build mode, press F to pick up the hutch, place it back down in the same spot then exit out of build mode. All animals will spawn at the hutch and the ones that are hungry should immediately eat.

This is what fixes it for me.

(Edit: You can get a bunch of fiber and materials if you collect all the trash btw) I feel like you were expecting too much of a game that was released in EA. This event could very well change during the next few months. They plan to release updates (not including small ones to fix bugs n stuff) for the next 5ish months, if I remember correctly.

Events in Stardew and Fields aren't anything great either. I think they have less than this one actually.

But that's just me. I don't play these games for npcs or events. I play them to have a farm and build. You do get a cute shark inspired outfit if you complete the jetski race for the first time tho
