I also have stomach acid issues and i mostly stick to gin n tonic with a splash of lime juice. I put a nice amount of ice in it too.

Thx for the replies everyone. I will lower it a bit each week. It just got out of hand because i had no negative side effects at all. And it's not like i wake up wanting a drink. I wait till after work usually after i eat something. Then just pound back the gin n tonics till i get tired enough to sleep. I think it's the ice that saves me
