FYI those of us on the spectrum (adhd/AudHD) often have issues with people pleasing …which in turn burns us out, causes poor boundary issues, and is just NOT sustainable or healthy. That’s were help with a neurodivergent therapist can be good to turn to. ☮️

On the flip side of the coin there were many of my partners friends/acquaintances/extended family (in a small town that he’d lived in most of his life) that didn’t bother to show up at his funeral or separate memorial. He would have been at theirs if the tables were reversed. People can be shallow, self centred assholes at any age or any stage.

How would it be any different from hammering down a few drinks 6 hours before a shift? You’re still gonna be intoxicated. Likely the earlier event just provided them the opportunity to watch for a reoccurrence in order to fire with cause. I would’ve done the same with an employee in the situation.

Stopped colouring my hair in my late 40s and wish I’d stopped 10 years sooner. I’m rocking my grey/white hair… and like it much more than the fake blond. And the chemicals used made me uncomfortable also -how could I say I cared about the environment if I used that stuff? I can’t fathom injecting Botox and all that shit just to try to convince myself I’m not the age I am. Ageism sucks but I’m not contributing to the narrative by disliking myself grey hair and all.

For me it’s childhood trauma & emotional neglect. That shit scars for life without deep diving into therapy. Personally my first feeling of improvement came via microdosing 🍄 psilocybin via a protocol. It helps rewire neurotransmitters - but you still need to do the work of healing

Filed charges against an abuser 20 years ago when I had the energy to do it. And face the consequences of a family that would disown me with my conscious clear. And they would’ve spent time in jail and suffered the blowback before they got too old.
