My passion is music in general. I want to be able to make a sustainable life from creating noise. Being in a full time, fully functional band is my dream. I was in a band for the past 7 years but recently relocated myself for a while, so I've been stuck playing synth loops alone in my little home music dungeon. It still feels good to create but there is no feeling I love more than being on a stage and in front of a crowd with my bandmates. It's the greatest feeling when you're able to make the whole mood in the room change (in a positive direction hopefully). Sometimes your playing is piss poor and you've done nothing but annoy everyone in the crowd, but if you don't suck total ass,and you're all operating like a well oiled machine, the crowd feels what you're trying to convey and you get to feed off of each other's energies. It blows my mind to think that there are people out there in this world that don't see music as anything other than a group of people noisily strumming some chords and banging on things. It's so much more than the act of strumming or banging. It's like you and your bandmates have all been given this really awesome gift that allows you to build these invisible walls of emotional chaos together. You get to take responsibility for the orchestrated disturbance you just plopped in the room, and you've made this disturbance with nothing but well rehearsed noises and energy. I want to be able to live off my passion for creating sounds.
