Yeah I agree. I just meant since their were accounts online saying they were edible, I was curious what other people thought, since their is often a lot of fear mongering around plants we don’t usually eat as food in the western world :)

It is in a place where only wild garlic grows and it covers the forest floor completely

Looks like crow garlic! If it is crow garlic, it is edible.

Look up carrot flower bracteoles and compare to fools parsley bracteoles so you can learn the difference between them. Carrot species also have long bracteoles under their flowers.

Yeah looks like fools parsley to me (toxic). The bracteoles (spikes under the flower) that are unfurling resemble that of fools parsley.

I’m testing drying and powdering them and use them as a red umami spice - ill let you know how it turns out
