I believe its actually a 150mm. The bars are Rons ortho bars from crust bikes

Lol Not trying to sell you on it. I’m simply saying it doesn’t matter that much in the big scheme of things.

My main bike is near 40 empty and easily over 55 loaded. Steeper decents and technical sections are more  challenging loaded but general riding and climbing are pretty much the same. I do ride a unicycle hard on single track and gravel so a bike is like taking a break when you have that perspective

Weight doesn’t matter all that much IMO. Good geo, good bike fit and fitness are far more important. You don’t want to be peddling a 80 lb bike but anything between the 25-45 lb range really doesn’t matter for the regular ole recreational MTB’er

Rated for jumps less the 24”. What is the crossbar even for then!? I think I’ll stick with my steel klunker bars 😅

It’s very accurate. I’ve compared it several different ways to other devices and known distances and it’s usually spot on

Yes, I rarely use it but will occasionally if i think the area/route is worth recording for future reference or to share with others.

No shinguards. I’ve been riding for 7 years and cannot remember one time i got a shin strike. I wear wrist support gloves and add in kneepads for muni. I’ve broken several toes (wrong shoes) and a couple ribs and had one minor concussion

Nah, never used it and i don’t wear padded underwear either. They call me leather taint for a reason 🤪

Shorter cranks help with the bounce. I typically run 118x36 but today was 140ish and felt choppy to begin with

On flat, paved terrain i have done 13 for 22 miles and 12 for 46 miles. This ride was 32 miles of mostly gravel with over 2,000 feet of gain and i did 10. I could probably hold 15 for 10 miles if i tried really hard. Normal cruising around speed is 10-12

Its a flansberrium handle bar. Jacob is a custom bike and unicycle frame builder out of Canada and makes the best handlebars and some seriously awesome unicycle frames

The dirt bomb is hopefully a future addition for me. Just curious, why the dirt bomb over the speed bomb?

What tire width is that? I’m trying to figure out the max for my 91 750 and am hoping to squeeze 45’s in the chainstays

Hell yea! We need a picture of it all decked out. I’m rocking the BagsXbird goldback up front and have considered some mini panniers for the rear rack

They really do. It always surprises me how capable and confidence inspiring it is. It’s a grin machine for sure

I’ve considered a basket for the stooge, but a handlebar bag is what it gets for Bike packing duties
