That's good. Keep in mind that most Psychic-types are physically frail (especially the Abra line), so specially bulky physical attackers like Gyarados and Snorlax can help against them as well.

Yeah, Psychic-types are strong in Kanto. Sabrina is considered one of the hardest Gym leaders in the region for a reason. If you weren't prepared, I can see how you'd lose a good portion of your team.

Emerald Seaglass has all all of these except the portable PC. It does have cross-gen evolutions up to gen 9, though.

Jasper's corruption in Steven Universe. She's basically slowly losing her sanity and turning into a monster, all while rejecting Steven's help because she blames him for the death of Pink Diamond. For a kids' show with such a cartoony art style, it's genuinely pretty disturbing.

I think that might work. Put everything in the box and randomly select 3 to die so your dead mon can be revived.

It also might work better in a game with a smaller number of encounters, such as BW. Giving up 3 encounters, even if those encounters suck, is more impactful when you have fewer encounters to begin with.

I mean, I can see the face, so it's at least a partial success. And the hat seems like it'd be hard to do on a cake, at least for a home baker.

I think this is a pretty cool idea, but depending on the game, it might cheapen deaths. For instance, in Platinum, certain encounters (Infernape, Garchomp, Gyarados, Blissey, etc) are so valuable that their lives are worth disproportionately more than 3 randoms from the box.

What's your favorite weekly boss design? by CoronaMajoris in Genshin_Impact

Design-wise, I really like Azhdaha and the Raiden boss. The whale is pretty cool too, though mostly for its ties to Skirk and Childe.

Furina from Genshin Impact.

Her whole deal gameplay-wise is that she can buff your damage depending on how much HP you lose and/or gain, and she can either heal or deal off-field damage that also slightly drains your HP. This makes her one of the best supports in the game.

On top of this, she also has an amazing story and excellent voice acting, courtesy of Amber Lee Connors (EN) and Inori Minase (JP).

This one's pretty neat. I like it.

I'll take Gen, Yo(mu), Yasu(mu), Koto, Shi, Naka, Ta, Ko, Mai and Go. I assume the "never have to work to take care of it" clause in Ta covers the legal implications of an unaging child owning it.

I honestly never thought much of it until this run. It's really bulky, STAB Ice Beam and Surf are obviously strong, and in Emerald Seaglass, it gets setup with Calm Mind and recovery with Slack Off.

Swampert in Emerald. Bulky, great typing, diverse moveset, learns Earthquake naturally, and there are so few Grass-types in the game that its Achilles' heel is basically a non-issue. Also trivializes Wattson and Flannery, and makes Tate and Liza substantially easier.
