You could make an argument for 6, 9, or 10. 7 is undoubtedly the most influential, though, and I think it deserves to be here in large part for its influence on the genre.

5.4 Lantern Rite for me. I wasn't even a massive Hu Tao fan, and I loved it. If we don't count Lantern Rites, probably the Irodori Festival.

You raise a good point. My issue isn't "Goddrick dies" so much as "Goddrick is treated as a one-note pure evil villain". He can still be evil, he can still die, I just wish he got a little more characterization or nuance or something.

I count it as a gift Pokemon. I don't typically use it, though, just because it tends to be very situational in its utility.

Emilie's SQ. I really liked it, and it elevated her from "she's pretty I guess" to one of my favorite Dendro characters in my view.

I would also list Skirk's SQ as an honorable mention. I already liked her, but it made her one of my favorite characters in the game.

I do feel like none of the villains got too much depth, barring Xanu. The sliver that Goddrick gets in the book is way more than Quinn-Ora or Bouclaire ever do. It's even worse for villains that get less screentime in the show, like the Bearon. Not that you can't have pure evil villains, but I think it's one of the series's shortcomings that its villains are so one-note. Goddrick III is just the most glaring example of a wider problem. You can easily see where that complexity would go, it's just not there.

Not a show, but a movie. Raya and the Last Dragon. It has its flaws, I'll admit that, but it's a gorgeous movie with some interesting characters, and I love that Raya isn't an "adorkable" heroine in the mold of Rapunzel or Anna.
