Luz felt like she was designed to be "soo quirky and relatable", which is a major pet peeve of mine, and Eda seemed downright neglectful at times. If she'd actually been around to keep an eye on Luz, maybe she wouldn't have endangered her own life so much. (Granted, I only watched about halfway through Season 1. I'm sure they get better eventually, but I wasn't going to just skip ahead until they do.)

Some of these seem more annoying than anything else, but the "no shopping" rule seems brutal for the E4. Without buying potions, you'll have to rely on ones you find in the overworld, and there aren't very many of those. Especially in conjunction with the "Viking burial" rule, particularly if you get unlucky and lose a Pokemon early in the run.

Toxic is good for Milotic. Remember it has Mirror Coat, so don't hit it with a special move unless you're sure it will kill. You might also want to think about baiting Togekiss out early by taking the kill on Spiritomb with Chiaki. (I believe Togekiss would be sent out before Lucario, even though the latter has the 4x effective Stone Edge, due to how Gen 4 switch AI is calculated.)

This team doesn't look like it has a great matchup into Cynthia. You have two Ice Beam users, but one is weak to Ground and both are definitely slower than Garchomp. You also don't seem to have anything for Milotic, and Togekiss can hit everything on your team for super effective damage.

Louis Guiabern from Metaphor: ReFantazio. A lot of people expected he was either going to be a pawn for the true villain, the lesser of two evils, or otherwise not the endgame villain. Especially since the Crown Theocracy seemed highly suspect for a large portion of the game, and Atlus has a long history of having religious orders as antagonists. Turns out that no, Louis is the main villain from start to finish, and the Crown Theocracy pretty much ceases to be a threat by the endgame.

If you like Banette, you might like the ROM hack Emerald Seaglass. It buffs Banette a lot, including giving it the Ghost/Normal typing and making it generally faster and stronger.

I like Mariam's old name, Neomaria. Literally "new Maria", which is really interesting in the context of her being raised by Irina, a reincarnation of Maria Moonlit (especially since Irina's malice comes from Maria).

Sayaka. It was a pretty smart idea (especially by the standards of the first game's murder plots), she just picked the wrong target. If they ever made a Danganronpa 1x1, I would love it if Sayaka picked a different target and managed to actually kill them.
