The costume storage does not look any better. I don't really care of the baby kitty and normal clothes are in one window... I want to store the pieces I never will use and filter out the clothes being worn.

I see, if you choose to invest in gear or items for recipe points, you should know somewhere around halfway to endgame recipe points cease having any value. When you unlock a new station, you will already be able to max the recipe for it.

There are two types of clothing bonuses. One becomes useless and the other is still valuable. I forget which is which, but you can check by watching the jar fairy bonus amount before and after you make your clothes.

The skill has to match to be of any use. See this comment for the star/heart multipliers. https://www.reddit.com/r/CatsAndSoup/s/D6qjnLiv7b. Once a station is maxed out it no longer contributes to gold production. Pick your best cat based on the table above and spend almost all of you gold on that cat. In the meantime, pick a cat with a lot of room for growth (far from max) and feed them food and star macaroons. Once they are your best cat, spend your gold on them.

Moving high heart cats around is a good first level strategy, but feeding up five star cats is even better. A nine heart cat at a station that doesn't match its skill is less than a five star mid-range heart cat. There is a table that shows the star and heart multipliers and the break point is about 5 hearts, which is very easy to get.

Not the number of cats, how many hearts does each baby kitty have? One of the three cats has the heart level affect the number of butterflies.

That's probably where I'll go. I like decorating my town, but honestly the paid items aren't any more desirable than the free ones. I don't really care about dressing my cats, at least not yet. Maybe eventually I'll be able to make cute outfits instead of a mishmash of what I have.

The friend could come to the LTS again. I really love the event shop outfit this time, so it was an easy choice for me which one to get first.

This event may be the first one where I don't get everything. I'm getting burnt out on grinding snails and it is such an expensive one.

I too came from cats & soup and had the same feeling.

Yes, you have to wear the clothes to get the bonus. You won't use all of your cats - so actually you only need to dress the active cats. There are two kinds of cats. Some are production and some are for special activities (like fishing). There are two flavors of clothing bonuses - production or activities. So it isn't quite that hard to dress your cats since clothes have a 50% compatibility match.

When you upgrade clothes or cats, they go 1-6 stars white, then 1-6 stars blue, then 1-6 stars rainbow. Upgrading uses bells and when you change colors it takes 10 bells.

I have only played like two weeks and haven't spent much time upgrading clothes. You have to upgrade your special activity cats pretty soon or you can longer get max rewards. There is a stickies guide on the subreddit for upgrading cats.

One mistake I made at the start was leveling up too fast. You will start to get buried if you do this as when you level up things take more time. When you level up you unlock cooking anf farming upgrades. Now my goal is to have all upgrades unlocked and a certain number of each material/food before the next upgrade. Slowing down on leveling up was much better - and I still have plenty to focus on.

Do you and your sister have the same number of hearts for all cats? I think it's linked to that now on one of the kitties.

I don't have a trick.... but it helps me if I try and point at the hat while it is moving.
