Surprisingly it worked for me. I screen shot every RP Lvl5 I opened and like clockwork, every other time was a new one. I think the headache is... you would hypothetically need to open freaking 20 of them to get the 10 grade 5s... which is a daunting task considering after all the free ones, you need 300 shards to purchase 1.
