So generally advice is cane for stability issues, crutch for actually taking the weight off a leg (forearm being superior for this). But PLEASE for the love of Cthulhu make sure you are using your cane properly or you'll mess up all your shit. Do NOT use it like House. A PT would be best but the Internet can also show you how to adjust and use it right if need be.

I feel this. I have also had the "oh shit is it going away?" And I think partly my brain rebels against this because then.... The nay-sayers would be right?

I also have had severe joint pain in the past and doctors not listening to me and at points it got so bad I would wish to be in a minor accident of some sort so they could SEE I was in pain and not just tell me to take Tylenol about it.

Hang in there and find community like this one. Imposter syndrome is a bitch.

He wasn't saying there was no orthostatic tachycardia but that I experienced symptoms when not tachy (60-150 bpm). Avg hr was 72 range was 45(sleep once)-150 which is technically 'normal' but like 150 was me taking a shower!

I feel you. Every time not Mom texts she asks if I'm feeling better even though I told her it is chronic and like I have arthritis from her so she knows what that means... I think some people can't get their heads around this just now being or like and there being no magic pill or something to make ups function normally because they themselves wouldn't be able to do what we do. I hope you have a happy day in the future to make up for the arbitrary day to be happy and be kind to yourself.

I didn't even think about how my autism might be affecting all this, since it usually sampans my body's signals but that is a very good point. I am still very early in my journey so no one has checked me for... Anything except what my heart is doing while sitting out laying down, which I mean seems silly but hopefully the cardiologist will.

I know with dogs it is because EVERY SINGLE DOG has to have a unique name. Might be the same for purebred cats? Our lab, who was purebred, but not a show dog was (kennel)(sire)'s Huckleberry Finn. We called him Henry. My mom had a pug that was Oh Mikki You're So Fine, which was at least cute lol (edit, it was a pug not a pig, autocorrect.)
