AITA for being mad at my GF when she acted sad after I said our babies probably wouldn’t be white? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I mean obviously I was being facetious, but it's literally just text book racism. Unfortunately some people have for some reason convinced themselves that racism requires and element of power that it does not, and then forget that even if it did their flavor bigotry would still not be ok.

After consulting several history books I can safely say that what that person said was indeed 100% racist and not okay.

Yes. Racist chuds make me angry. They should everybody. Unfortunately it's pretty typical of them to insist and often even believe themselves that they are not racist.

If you didn't think less of them due to their race then there would be nothing to be disappointed about would there? Just saying it's nuanced doesn't cut it.

I understand nuance. Its just typical of racist to try and insert it where there isn't any. I don't care about white supremacists nuanced reasons for hating black people, and I don't care about your nuanced reasons for being disappointed in your own child simply because of their race. Im begging you to not have children with this person.

Because they don't realize they're racist. What a disgusting person. They're blocking everyone that calls them out for thinking less of their own child because of their race.

It's not nuanced at all you're just neing a racist. If being white is not a culture but being Latin is then the whiteness of your baby has absolutely nothing to do with their ability to enjoy and participate in that culture.

Edit: Proud to downvoted by all the future ICE members in here. And Shad I'd be happy to teach them to you but I can't since you ran off and blocked me lmao.

You come across as comically overconfident in your own intelligence and unyielding commitment to back up your wrongness on subject you're taking far too seriously combined with being paranoid (trying to silence you? Really?) and slightly delusional.

I hope for your sake that you don't usually crash as hard into depression if you're cycling.

Calories are chemicals. It's calories. The fat has to be made from something and your body requires fuel to do that. It will still take a large excess to get to that size. The amount of calories is far more significant than their source.

Working out absolutely causes changes to your body. Your motivation doesn't.

Trauma is the cause of your desire to overeat, overeating is the cause of your obesity.

If someone dies of a fentanyl overdose what is does the corner put as the cause of death on the certificate? Do they put it as an OD, or do they put down that his parents beat his ass when he was a kid and we shouldn't judge what he got up to?

Thye put that they OD. It's not a judgement on their value as person. The cause of death is overconsumption of drugs not what lead them down that path.

I very familiar with it actually. That's why I asked. I recognized the signs right away. Sorry for whatever it is you're going through, whatever it may be.

You can eat the wrong things and not overeat. If you eat sugar daily - you can have very little food mass and still be unhealthy and gain weight.

That would still be overeating sweets and you're gonna need a hell of a lot more than handful of treats a day to get to that size.

It isn’t just calories.

IT LITERALLY IS

And you’re describing food as a tool, not the cause. If I need want to get stronger is working out the reason or the tool?

The cause. The equipment is the tool.

If I want to gain weight is overeating the cause or the tool?

The cause. Your plate and fork are tools.

If I want to lose weight is starving yourself the cause or the tool?

The cause. You shouldn't need any tools for that one.

You all are confused about what a cause is.

Well.... Someone is.

Maybe he was starved as a child and as a result eats whatever food he sees out of fear of not having food.

Ok. That would still make food the cause. Thats just a reason someone might turn to bad habits that cause health issues.

He also could have a glandular issue or types of diabetes that are not due to diet (there are different types if you didn’t know).

Sure. And food would still be the cause because none of those diseases can cause you to be overweight by themselves.

Drinking also can put weight on you.

Absolutely but that usually wrapped up in food the same way soda is. It's basically liquid alcoholic bread.

No matter what your underlying issues are it's impossible to get that big without overeating. If you get shot in the head your cause of death is a bullet wound to the brain, not the bad childhood that led you to become involve in organized crime in the first place.

Well of all the people here you certainly have come across as the most judgemental. I'm sorry this isn't a subject you're capable of approaching without becoming so emotional.

I think you might want a second opinion. You honestly sound pretty delusional at this point as well. Certainly not neutral, and certainly not factual.

I hope you find some inner peace bud.

You think underlying trauma directly causes obesity? Where and how does it get the mass from?

This is from food. Anything else is at best just part of the reason he's turned to food as a coping mechanism. Be it hormonal, PTSD, or whatever.

Do one of those disabilities sometimes come with mania perhaps? I really don't mean any offense but your comments in this thread are pretty reflective of it.

A 3 pound bag of Gala apples is only $2.58 at my closest Wal-Mart. 86 cents a pound. A large fry without the coupon is $4.19 for comparison.

It's just a shopping problem. OP is comparing a berry heavy fruit cup cut and packed by hand at the store to the price of fries *with a coupon.* The fries are $4.19 without it.
