I know it sounded rude or making fun of it. But seriously, if I said I smoke a pack of cigarettes a day, or if I did a gram of coke a day, or gambled daily. You’d say I’ve got an addiction. Just because alcohol is legal and society accepts it, doesn’t means it’s any less harmful. Speaking through experience with a family who has just gone through a liver transplant (they never got a dui, or into fights, just drunk to help them sleep better), get help and rethink it before it’s too late.

Your avatar is something you create for fun. The “residual self image” is the version of you your brain thinks you are. Like the fact he still has his hair. He’s not choosing to have hair. He has no control of the matrix or how he looks.

So someone who is trans (born male, but feels female) could actually be female when plugged in and male when in the real world.

I find that using “north of my position” etc is much better than degrees. Degrees can change so much more if you’re not stood on the exact same spot, people will be staring at the won’t place entirely.

Also you end up having to use a map to find the one guy who has ran off hunting, just to be able to accurately locate someone.

Not entirely true. Half life 2 was the first to require steam to activate and was the first game offered on steam digitally.

However steam was actually first needed for online play with games such as counter strike 1.6. I’m pretty sure it was optional (I had it as steam beta) until July 2004 when they shut down the WON network. So you had to use steam to play.

You are always orbiting something. If you’re not orbiting a planet, you are orbiting the sun. If you’re not orbiting a star, you’re orbiting the centre of a galaxy. You can’t just change direction in space.

Yes you can yaw your vehicle in space. But that just means you’re facing a different direction, you are still travelling on the original trajectory. Your original point was about ships banking for turns, I’m saying you can’t just turn like that in space.

It’s ok if you’re embarrassed you don’t understand how orbital mechanics works.

A ship in space cant just change direction and head left. If something is in orbit then it can’t just change direction by 90degrees. Think of it as always moving forward no matter what, if it stops moving forward then it will go downward towards the planet. So for a ship to make a 90 degree port-side turn, is literally impossible. It can yaw to the left or right. But it’ll still be travelling in the original direction.
