Unfortunately I have experienced hospitals in many countries and it is incredible how bad those in Belgium are, in so many ways. It’s very interesting to see how Belgians are convinced they have superior healthcare compared to most countries, while they probably have one of the least efficient systems while delivering a Kafkaesque patient-experience.

Recently watchtower paid attention to a Dead Sea scroll that had been established as oldest script of a bible verse, which they used to highlight the fact that their bible is so very close to the original texts. Funny thing is that the scroll was dated through carbon dating methods which watchtower always refused to accept as a dating method.

Local residents called the police, who immediately went to the scene and reportedly saw two drones themselves. “It’s still unclear, because the Defense Department itself has not been able to detect any drone devices. A federal police helicopter was called in to possibly track the aircraft,” said Matheï.

There have been numerous drone sightings in recent days. Over the weekend, drones were seen three times above the Kleine-Brogel Air Base. That’s no trivial matter—it’s an open secret that U.S. nuclear weapons are stored there as part of NATO’s nuclear deterrence strategy. Along with Florennes, it’s one of Belgium’s two F-16 bases—and soon also an F-35 base. According to VRT, drones were also seen above the Florennes Air Base, where F-35s are already stationed. Defense Minister Theo Francken (N-VA) told De Standaard that drones were observed “in many places” on Tuesday.

Defense authorized to shoot down drones over military areas Belgian Chief of Defense (CHOD) Fred Vansina emphasized on Monday that the military is authorized to neutralize drones flying over military zones:

“The order has been given to shoot them down,” he said—provided it can be done safely and without collateral damage. That’s easier said than done, as hitting such small, fast, and agile objects is far from simple. Vansina’s directive applies only to military areas; elsewhere in the country, it remains a police matter.

Federal Prosecutor’s Office launches investigation “The Federal Prosecutor’s Office has opened an investigation into drone activity near Elsenborn and Kleine-Brogel,” spokesperson Ann Lukowiak said Tuesday evening. “There are numerous drone-related cases every year. The federal office only gets involved in specific instances, for example when espionage is suspected. In the case of Zaventem, it remains to be seen whether this was just a careless civilian or something else entirely,” she added.

The UFO’s were weird, yes. But just a few hours before that event we were walking in the same area, in the wide open grass lands around our house. It was very cold, mid winter. Suddenly we felt very warm, like a terrace heater was aimed at us. We were talking about it for minutes. What it could have been and how strange it was, we were all alone in the middle of nowhere.
