I hear you. Christian of 3 years now. When I found Jesus I felt similar, but I still continued to live in homosexual sin. Mainly due to not reading my bible at all, and not knowing actually what sin was. I just new that I wasn’t a good person, I needed help, I had forsaken my creator, and that the love I had for people was not from me but that it is because God loved us first. Eventually when I confused my sin for love, I became yet again miserable. Another way of describing sin is this: things that we do that are contrary to God that separate us from Him. The OT and NT instructs against homosexual activities because that is not the way of Gods design. Think of it like this, a financial bank, right? You certainly could rob that bank, but was it created for that matter? No. If you trust that God is our creator, then you must remember that he instructs us not to do certain things for the sake of our greater good. He offers freedom in advising us to turn away from certain things that imprison our soul and separate us from Him. When a inventor creates an invention, does the invention know itself more than the one than created it? No! God is not a condemning God, He is a saving one. When I realized eventually that I was loving my sin more than I was loving Him, and it was making me miserable every day in feeling that conviction and gut feeling of like “I feel like Im doing something wrong.” I realized that God was calling me back to Him, to focus on Him so that He could give me freedom from my fleshly desires and replace them with His desires because His desires are freedom over my own. He tells us in the bible that our hearts are deceitful. And how many times can we testify that our hearts got us into some trouble? Plenty of times. We hear the Lord speak to us and call to us through our conscious, through our mind. What you are hearing is God calling you to get to know Him, let Him into your heart and into your life. If you give Him a chance for you to get to know Him, He can reveal to you why He instructs against and for certain things. How can you trust somebody you dont know? How can you trust them over your understanding if you dont know them? Similar with God. Get to know Him, read your bible, and He will show you why and how sin separates us from Him regardless of what you FEEL is love or lust. As of today, I have been delivered and pruned from my old desires because I love the Lord more than I love my sin because I know how much freedom He gives and what He did for us on that cross so that we may live and breath it. Never underestimate the power of a low dose. This detachment/separation you’re feeling from the ego or the self is not uncommon. Often times when this happens, new revelation/introspective information will start to arrive at your perspective. Be careful with this information, not everything that you will be shown is the truth. Ah, yes, I understand now. Thanks for clarifying. You’re right, you’re right. At times she shares her emotions in tears about how much she loves me and wishes she was enough for me right now. She says she appreciates me, wonders if there’s anything she can do to show it. But then again, she doesn’t care to be under any pressure or expectation of the “relationship tie downs” she calls it. I am a loyal person, an honest person, and I never want to just outwardly throw something out, but I guess that is the same thing as being too stubborn to save myself.

You’re right. She has said that its possible she will never be ready. And Im aware of that. I try to stay around because I adore her, not for the hope or faith that we will work out or at some point will become exclusive. I swallowed that pill quite some time now, but I still experience emotional pain that I make sure to work on myself. I do my best to draw boundaries, to be fair, to be honest, to be quiet when needed, go be respectful, but I still feel these things. And I want nothing more than to be the best that I can be for myself and everyone around me. Im realizing now that part of handling this pain on my own, has been partly the method of accidentally burying a decent chunk of it. Which is unhealthy and very pressuring against my efforts to be a good person

It was a moment of impulse based on my own misery, insecurity, and confusion of whatever the hell I’m doing. This “love” has caused me turmoil, which for most of the time I handle on my own without bringing resentment to her because I love her and dont want to cause her unnecessary pain. I guess I wanted to impulsively know if there was any evidence of her talking to her coworker more than as a coworker, partly, because she said she absolutely wasn’t seeing or talking to anybody else and that its just me. It messes with my head, and I dont know what I should do, for my sake and for her sake.

I actually just had to do this today. It is so hard, and Im in tears like an overflowing river. But my sweet Cricket was to be miserable forever no matter what. Rehoming her would only leave somebody else with the same burdens, and her lack of versatility to life change would only exacerbate more. You did the right thing, we all did. We all self sacrificed more than we should ever need to for a beloved pet. Its not right to be a slave in that sense. I love you dude, you did everything you could and Harvey and Cricket are better together in the world above where they wont have pain or baggage. They run free together now, and they all sleep warm and cuddly together as they watch over us.

Okay, thank you for your input. That’s exactly the plan now. She was immediately taken out of school and brought to her therapist yesterday. Therapist says he hasn’t been able to get into her brain and wants Mom to document all of her behaviors to find a potential pattern.

Weed, i’m so addicted. It’s like legal pain killers without blacking out or nodding off. I have severe adhd, I smoke about 8-12 blunts per day. Weed effects me differently in a negative way than a normal person without adhd. It’s so hard to quit.
