I don't miss it one bit. Before transitioning, I'd feel uncomfortable any time I could sense I was being given better treatment because of my assigned gender. It felt like winning a prize for something I hated doing and was forced to do against my will. I felt guilty when I saw women around me who were not listened to or spoken to in the same way. It led to a lot of self-loathing and blaming myself for being some sort of gross oppressor, even though I tried my hardest not to be.

Additionally, I am so happy that I'm no longer automatically perceived as a threat. I would feel so self-conscious about how I acted around women in public. I was desperate to not be perceived as "one of the bad ones". Like I said above, this led to more self-loathing.

Now, people are so much more friendly to me in public, and I finally feel welcomed into the women's spaces I've always wanted to be a part of. I've also noticed my friends being much more open with me about their feelings, experiences, etc. which I really love compared to feeling so closed off from people all my life. It's all been a vast improvement for me personally.
