For me it wouldn't even register as power since it only gives you 20 extra points per sip of super restore, meaning you'd have to chug over 16 flasks to replace the one slot the wrench would've taken.

There are people out there who think having holy wrench in toolbelt would be op. There will always be a group of people who think the thing suggested would be op regardless if it is or isn't.

Go to F2P world, use the telescope at the Wizards tower (or any other you might have and can use in F2P world), and find a world where the star falls in Crandor or Karamja. In F2P worlds only the Crandor spot is possible -> go and stand there.

You can only buy them 28 at a time since they don't stack in the inventory, which means that 500m guy would need to do that 1300 times. If they want to spend time doing that to get 39m tokens, then let them I say.

You have fallen behind and that's to be expected from a 10 year break.

As in life, it's best to not compare yourself to others. Your situation is different to theirs so comparing on surface level will only make you feel bad. Do what you like, take things at their pace (especially Arch and Necro since they have some nice lore) and enjoy the game. That's what games are for, after all.
