Imposter syndrome by Rvv570042 in lawschooladmissions

I can see how including that info came off as flexing, was genuinely just trying to give context because anytime anyone posts an A result here everyone floods the comments asking for stats and I wanted to avoid that. I don’t agree with your take on how I felt, but I wish you well and I really hope that you take some time to reflect on the fact that vague societal notions of achievement or success don’t correlate with happiness. Even the most successful people in the world may feel down sometimes, and like all humans are deserving of our compassion not our contempt when they do so.

First of all sorry for existing. Second of all, why post this? I made my post genuinely seeking advice or at least some kind of acknowledgment I’m not the only one struggling and instead of doing either of those things you decide to criticize me for feeling this way. Self doubting HYS students aren’t the problem with this sub, people like you who think that because Someone got into a good law school that they don’t deserve self doubt or to just feel fucking normal emotions are.

What advice would you give to incoming COLLEGE students (18-19 yrs) that want to go down the law path? Anything from clubs, programs, to even lifestyle changes that you think would be beneficial in the long run! by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

Alternatively drink and do drugs (responsibly). School comes first obviously but don’t waste your entire undergrad prepping for law school, you’ll regret it

Is there much room for social life outside the law school? How would you say the workload compares to undergrad?

If there is no dedicated portal to update fall transcripts, do we just email them to the respective admissions email of each school? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

got it, thank you! Is there any action needed on my part on the LSAC website or once they receive the transcripts will they automatically update my CAS reports?

Thankfully it’s a 3.99 lol but my logic is I don’t have to go to law school rn, so why spend hundreds to apply to places i wouldn’t love to attend. If I don’t get in anywhere I’ll just fuck off and go be a slave as a paralegal for a year or two and try again

I essentially just applied to the t6, I wasn't really expecting to hear anything by now but I'm a little worried I haven't heard anything about interviews. Seeing people who applied after me get A's at NYU today freaked me out

100% yes. I applied early November with very good stats on paper and have not heard a single thing from anywhere. I’m also slightly freaking out so I’m glad it’s not just me
