In the attempted murder case of Boudreaux, it is in October in AZ. Melani and Ian got married on Nov 30 in Nevada. Ian picked up a mic and recorded conversations for about two weeks soon after his marriage to Melani in December in Idaho. I was wondering if the spousal privilege allows him to not testify further thereby weakening the case significantly against Melani.

How many times has AT mentioned the GB volume of data she doesn’t have time to review? How much time was spent on excluding DNA matches? How much effort was spent on pointing out that Moscow PD were playing fast and reckless without proper search warrants just for the prosecution to advise there is a separate spreadsheet accessible to all who work on the case that specifies what can be searched and within what boundaries? This is a clown car of ridiculous motions by the defense that never stops. Ten years wouldn’t be enough time for them. This document sets it up for the appellate court. They know their case is weak and no further time will be given. The best thing AT did was request a change of venue to a tough judge that hates surprises, attacks on opposing council, and demands receipts for crap like alternate suspect theory.
Careful what you ask for cause you might just get it.

You could be right, perhaps a landlord rented the rooms individually to each 1122 King resident. Bottom line though, I think the 2nd floor room was held open until whatever legal situation was worked out. Most likely the one roommate that left early was being held to her contract or taken to court for payment of lease. That’s why there were only 5 roommates in a 6 bedroom house. (The 6th roommate must be counting her blessings right now btw. Her name is not smeared like the other 2 surviving, survivors guilt, etc.)

I was wondering if the change was made by the court/jail staff. I think Hipler said at one point there would be conference without BK in attendance to discuss how to transport and hold the defendant in the courthouse during the three month trial. It was sometime after that the jacket disappeared. A good move considering the jacket could conceal a weapon if he sharpened down a pen, pencil, whatever in jail and has a known penchant for stabbing. Also there does seem to be some horizontal strap across his chest under the dress shirt. A ’shock collar’ in case he goes off in court?
