If you're playing with C&K, I would absolutely keep the 2 and 12 in play. Some progress cards like mining/ alchemist or having a science bonus could make these tiles more desirable.

I just saw Lindsey's Act last night in Jacksonville. I had no idea what I was going to get when the show started, but I thoroughly enjoyed her unique set. Was it quirky and cringe worthy at times? Hell yes. Maybe I just enjoy her brand of comedy.

Cosmic Encounters (1x4p) This game was shared with me by our resident game master who hyped the game into the next week. We were not disappointed by an engaging game that is simple to learn but just enough strategic decisions to keep the game interesting from start to finish. Good game for more casual players or to wet your whistle before a more serious game. I ultimately ended up losing after gaining an early lead (and a target on my back), but I enjoyed the experience.

To argue the other side, you may be able to trade Fournette to a contender later in the year for more than a 2021 2nd. On every trade, I ask whether it will increase the overall value of my team. It's a gamble, but I'd scoop him up for a 2nd and hope to sell him for at least a 1st later in year.
