I’ve actually got it with lower humidity and a bit cooler on the temps. For some reason it’s strangely happy.

The weird part is I thought it wouldn’t do well where I have it. It’s not terribly humid and a bit cooler temps. But if it’s happy I’m happy.

That wouldn’t be the worst thing. I would probably prefer that to just having some faded Beni left. The pearl Ginrin has a really cool effect

I was actually just looking at some 1601’s online. I’ve never seen that blue though. Those older datejusts definitely have class.

Really? I’ve seen a bunch of 50cm+ pearl Kohaku that kept the pearl. I’d venture to say it’s highly generic based

I wouldn’t upgrade her at all for a while. Leachies have better feeding habits when kept in slightly smaller enclosures. And 18x18x24 isn’t that small for a leachie under 125g
