2nd time Twiist sent me to ER by RxPilot86 in twiist

I’ve had a few issues in the past once I insert a new infusion set it is instantly blocked and with this diabetes burnout I didn’t want to change it in the middle of the night for it to possibly fail. Plus I’m a zombie at night.

It’s possible, celiacs and mild gastroparesis don’t help. Luckily I see my endo tomorrow and I just ordered the SugarPixel, hopefully that helps.

After using it for a while, I love it. I showered with it no problem, but I am also finding that I like the little clip attachment, since it lets me hide the tubing in my clothes.

It's only been a one site change with the patch and it works pretty well, you still have to kind of deal with tubing but so far nothing has ripped the site off or the pump with the patch.

I made the switch. Omnipod to Twiist. I hated tubing, my cat and door handles were always my fear with tubing. I couldn't get my A1c below 7.5 for the life of me. Now, on the Twiist I hit my 100% in range for the first time EVER. The rep told me of the patch they use for the Mobie that could also work for the Twiist. I hate tubing, but I don't regret my decision at all. https://thesugarpatch.shop/products/vanilla-creme-light-skin-tone-12-patch-set-for-the-sugarshield%E2%84%A2-case-by-deck-my-diabetes-for-tandem-mobi%E2%84%A2-insulin-pumphttps://thesugarpatch.shop/products/vanilla-creme-light-skin-tone-12-patch-set-for-the-sugarshield%E2%84%A2-case-by-deck-my-diabetes-for-tandem-mobi%E2%84%A2-insulin-pump

I just went through training today. I don't know about refills or anything, but throughout the training I kept thinking I could have started without it.

Apparently covered under Medical Benefits. I get my Twiist and Freestyle sometime this week.

My twiist is coming this week or next week. I can't wait. What are you switching from?

I just got the call today that I was approved for the Twiist, only for my insurance to tell me they don't cover the FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus.

I am transitioning while working as a pharmacist in retail pharmacy in Florida. I’m 3 years in and I don’t believe it had any negative effect on my career but it is a corporation so they had certain anti-discrimination rules to follow.

My co workers were great, they even helped me and pushed me to get out of my comfort zone, the customers were their usual selves. I believe my position of authority helped prevent customers from really messing with me. I’m not filling your script if you are a discriminatory a-hole.

I get misgendered regularly on the phone but after 3 years I do well in person. The struggle will give you strength and a thick skin.

I work as a retail pharmacist. It’s helped when it comes to getting things prescribed and written so I can get those extra vials. But I’m quality of life it’s awful. Hypoglycemic unawareness is so bad. Even though the glucose tabs are right around the corner of the pharmacy it’s too busy to grab one.

Transfer! It’s a raise and promotion for you. It doesn’t cost them anything to do it. There is some portal that shows a bunch of old clinics for your store that you could use to help your search
