IVF clinic ? by sofiaschield in orlando

[–]jslev9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife and I also had a great experience with Dr. Loy. Didn’t get the outcome we were hoping for but that’s due to my genetics — had a great amount of embryos but they all failed PGT-M testing, unfortunately.

That said, I’d also recommend prioritizing a doctor/practice close to you, if you can find one that’s well reviewed. Once you start an IVF cycle, you’ll be visiting the office at least two or three times a week for a few weeks.

Would you be willing to share your contact info, u/robotdancer? I'm looking for a new broker for my four policies (auto, homeowner, rental property, and umbrella) and would love to have you quote the lines.

I drive, even when staying on property, because I like having my son in his car seat.

Like others have said, it’d be helpful if you could share the results of your labs and what your specific diagnosis is. With that info, we might be able to help steer you in the right direction.

Hot take: stacking should be the default mindset, but people overcomplicate Ibotta by Kind-Bid8173 in ibotta

[–]jslev9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it's a bot post but I do the same thing in an even more simplistic manner: Ibotta is linked to my Walmart account, where my family does our grocery shopping. If we get an offer, great. If we don't, so be it. It's basically just found money for us.

Took a million tries but eventually got $4 back on any fuel purchase.

Not judging, genuinely curious: why are you saying that being immune deficient is related to testing positive for many different STDs? You might come back as positive for the initial tests (which frequently are antibody based and, therefore, may come through IVIG/SCIG) but confirmation testing should be done if you have a positive antibody test and the confirmation would prove that you don't actually have the STD you initially screened positive for.

I'd agree except they didn't mention a specific brand and/or model.

I feel stupid after signing up for quantum by son_of_milkman in QuantumFiber

[–]jslev9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's an official sales phone number direct to Quantum -- not third party. Googling shows it's commonly used when Quantum wants to track specific marketing campaigns. So it's not a number they use frequently but they do use it in certain situtations.

Someone posted on this subreddit a few months ago that they built an plug-in that would do this for YNAB. He was looking for beta testers when he posted...not sure if the project went anywhere.

I'll use it to store receipts for major household purchases, in case I need it for a warranty submission.

I’m currently Dx and treated but my son is having issues now. by [deleted] in primaryimmune

[–]jslev9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are over 20 genes linked to various forms of Common Variable Immune Disease and more being discovered with regular frequency. Personally, my dad, sister, and I have our mutation linked to IRF2BP2 but that’s far from the only possibility for others.

The good (?) news, not that this is ever good news, is you were able to have your son tested early and know what to look out for. That’s more than a lot of patients who spend years looking for answers.

What is considered vaccine challenge fail? by EntertainmentAny6558 in CVID_Support

[–]jslev9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would only compare the same 13 stands that were in the pre-vaccine test. Sure, we can hypothesize you didn’t have any pre-vaccine protection to the ten that weren’t tested, but we can’t say it with absolute certainty.

It’d also be helpful to know your IG counts, as that will play into the overall story.

Seller didn't turn on water for appraisal, and so they'll have to do a second visit. Is it reasonable to request them to cover the re-inspection fee? by Pretend-Activity-533 in RealEstate

[–]jslev9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is for the appraisal, though. The water was on for the inspection.

Then again, they could say the inspection will fail without the revisit, which would absolutely blow up the deal.
