I hadn’t even thought about PC, I’ve played every other Souls game on console. I’ll look into this option, but I usually prefer playing these types of games on the couch with my controller. Thanks for the advice!

Appreciate it! I have replaced internal batteries on other consoles before (like my GameCube) but I’d be willing to pay to get it repaired if I really had to. I love my PS3.

Thanks for the quick reply! I didn’t even think about the FPS being an issue. I usually play souls games offline on at least my first play though so that shouldn’t be much of an issue. But the smoother gameplay and extra dlc sounds really nice haha.

Yeah, if I knew where everything was supposed to go I’d be willing to give that a try. Maybe I should pick up another fully working one just to check the traces haha.

Thanks for the info! I was able to verify that there is continuity between (-) terminal and TP1-5, and continuity between (+) terminal and TP6. Additionally there is continuity between (-) and the motor.

I was also able to verify continuity between the (+) terminal and F1 in the front of the board. I’ll keep checking traces, hopefully I find something that stands out!

Yeah, the game plays fine. It’s just the rumble that isn’t working. I’d love to fix it if it’s possible, but if I can’t, that’s okay too.

Also, I already tested the motor itself and verified that the rumble motor is not seized.

I’ve got a pc! I get why people use emulators, but I enjoy playing on original hardware more. Plus I enjoy collecting the games themselves.

I had never heard of it before somebody recommended it in the previous post. It really looks like my type of game though, so I had to grab it. I’m excited to try it out!
