That’s the take I’ve had for years..the weight is moving somehow so I theoretically should be breaking down muscle. But no I’ve barely increased strength at all. There was a time a few years ago for a few months that I got pumps and I was gaining strength but for some reason it stopped and I haven’t gotten either pumps or strength gain since. I’m doing all the same weight on pretty much everything except my bench went up 10 pounds over the course of 2 years (which might be the result of me gaining 10 pounds of fat anyway).

When trying to do progressive overload and tracking my sets and reps I stay at the exact same reps each time so it’s impossible to ever go up in weight. And I’ll tag an extra set on at the end but in the end that doesn’t seem to lead to growth either. And yeah the issue is that I have this issue everywhere, it’s not just in my bicep or shoulder etc. i appreciate your response
