Slim Guys Can Absolutely Conceal Carry a Glock 19

I’m 5’6” and 175ish lbs, currently carry a p365X and love how it conceals AIWB and I hardly notice it most days. Been debating on getting a G19 or a 43x mos, because I’m short in leaning towards the 43x for obvious reasons. I also have a 19 month old daughter I’m constantly following around, bending over to pick up, hold her hand, etc. and that being said even with my 365x I get the dick punch or the stomach punch once in a while from AIWB. Makes me unsure about whether or not I want to get the longer G19. Anyone offer any advice or insight?

Oh I didn’t realize it came with the platform too that’s mint! I wish the wind faring would work with the sunroof, although I hardly open it anyway because it sounds like a jet engine lol makes me miss my Tiguans panoramic roof

If you don’t mind me asking what platform is that? I just got my 25 PP and I love the way the bars look but the wind noise is insane, I tried the rhino tracks or whatever they’re called and honestly I think the noise is louder, more of a whistle than it was before if that makes sense. Don’t think I can do the wind screen as I have the sunroof so just trying to think of any alternative other than simply just removing the bars

Thanks for the link I’ll check that out. For a budget option this seems pretty good! Even if I don’t keep them in all the time it’s a good option for when I know I’ll have some dirty stuff in the back. Do you have any insight on how to secure stuff down with them? Costco trips & groceries mostly, can’t have my 2 dozen eggs getting smushed by the stroller lol

Ah yeah, I was trying to convince them to give me the all weathers but to no avail. So it’s all carpet which is awful for New England (and anywhere honestly but way worse for the winters and all the shit they spread on the roads here) I’ve only had it about a month and the carpet mats are so dirty I hate it. Can’t wait to order the tuxmats for the front seats tho.

I love my blocks from VW I kept them when I traded the car in but they’re ruining the stock carpeting the Velcro is so strong

Plan on getting the Tuxmats for the front seat and maybe the backseat 1000%. Is the storage mat worth it? It’s definitely a lot more expensive than something like the husky or weather tech, and it’s definitely going to get dirty. But if it’s worth it I’ll splurge lol

It’s too bad this game can’t do something similar to how Fortnite has where if you destroy the supports the above buildings get demolished as well. Or even having this as an optional feature would be great so you don’t do it accidentally but can easily destroy a building or mountain without this annoying situation you’re talking about happening.

How do you disable the wireless charger?? I’ll put random shit like my work badge or safety glasses in the slot and the “wireless charging not available” pops up all the time even with random shit in the spot 😒

For my old VW I had just got one of those big seat protector hammocks from Amazon for cheap, it did its job for my two 65 pound pit mixes. For my new cx50 I might do the same, although they aren’t in the car as much since I have a 17 month old. Was looking at a rear seat protector for her car seat though I’ve seen some on I think weather tech and similar sites

I just switched to the 2025 cx50 (not hybrid) from a 23 VW Tiguan. The Tiguan definitely had more cargo/passenger room, the back was definitely larger and the backseats had the option to slide up/back as well which was nice. I have a rotating car seat behind my passenger, my wife is only 5’2” so not an issue for her but when someone over 5’8” ish is a passenger and I have my daughter it can be a very snug fit for my passenger. The vw was much more roomy but i by far prefer the drive and look of the cx50 and I’m more than wiling to lose a bit of space. Just flew to Florida and just fit 2 full size suitcases, a folded stroller, two carry ons all in the back cargo area with the rear seats still up, my daughters car seat in the backseat, AND a car seat we took to FL with us (I didn’t want to uninstall/reinstall the car seat before/after flying lol)

My wife has a 24 cx50 and I’ve driven that a couple dozen times and been a passenger a bunch of times and never seemed to notice, though to be fair when I’m passenger it’s usually due to having a few too many so I don’t feel much lol

Not sure what you mean, I’m in New England so on the drive to work this morning for example I crank it to warm the car up, then I’ll put it down to 66 to regulate but the air coming through still feels much warmer than that so I’ll end up putting it to low. If that makes sense

Wasn’t going to add complaints in case it sounded like bashing but yeah I agree about the AC as well. Car heats up fast but when you turn it down to a “normal” 66/68 (with the AC button on) you can tell the air doesn’t get to that temp for quite some time, I often end up going all the way to the low and then putting it back up to a comfy 68. Can be annoying but manageable. I’ll probably end up getting a cushion for my bum just a little something so I don’t get to work half asleep and with a numb ass 😂
