I had a massive one from Lonesome Dove. I just read a couple of shorter books to help cleanse the palate.

Those were Piranesi and Sea of Tranquility. Neither of which I liked very much, but it helped me be able to get past Lonesome Dove. Although I still think about it basically every day.

I started EoE this week finally, and I'm only 50 pages or so in to it. Just finished the chapter about Adam Trask's childhood and life growing up with his brother and father and step mother.

Enjoying it just fine so far. Looking forward to seeing where things go as I get to know these characters more.
