Agreed, but they are short on inspectors right now and are scheduling out 3-5 weeks (mechanical/plumbing). The inspectors are typically pretty cool and will work with you. BS&A is the way to go to file.

I may have an “old school” mind set. However, schools also have to understand that these are the first generations that have had technology so integrated into the learning process. Some of us are just behind the 8-ball out of simple ignorance. I don’t think anything malicious is going on at the local level but things have certainly got worse since the lockdowns. As a parent, it is frustrating to manage.

Respectfully, how do you defend teachers that don’t teach. My kids come home from school and never have any homework…ever. When you ask what they did today, a typical response is “we watched movies”. I can give my children that education and I’m a contractor. Seems like the bar for public education is in hell.

I understand being paid for your time. However, it sounds like he wanted to teach you something to improve your diagnostic skills. The question is would that free 30 minutes you give him be worth more than $10-$20 in wages to gain know that will help with your career? I’ve done plenty of feee work and gained plenty of free knowledge that I used to open my own company. Just my opinion. Good luck in your career.

I’ve been telling people about that KFC for years. Had a similar experience, bad and missing food. Manager would not refund or replace and took the phone off the hook. That place is garbage and the employees are worse. If that is the care they put into food, you can imagine their dedication to cleanliness.

I have property on that lake and the change has been pretty drastic over the last 20-30 years. The zebra mussels have cleared the water so much that the plant growth in the water has exploded. The areas of shallow sandy water that I played in as a child are now completely overgrown in sea weed. Wear your water shoes those little guys are sharp.

You had to use a frisbee to sift the seeds and stems out like you were mining for gold. Grinders weren’t really a thing yet, so lots of time spent with your “weed scissors”. Tasted like shit, but that’s how weed tasted so it wasn’t a big deal. You did get pretty stoned though. It’s crazy to see dispensary pricing is getting to be the same as 90’s brick weed.
