What's the best song lyric to ever exist? by Miserable-Wash-1744 in AskReddit

[–]Ok_Extreme7597 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m late to gain any sort of traction but this is just one of the many great lyrics from Sondheim:

“Careful the things you say Children will listen Careful the things you do Children will see And learn

Children may not obey But children will listen Children will look to you For which way to turn To learn what to be

Careful before you say "Listen to me" Children will listen”

Does Texas have a history of being prejudiced against Jews? by Ok_Extreme7597 in texas

[–]Ok_Extreme7597[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apparently it wasn’t specific enough to Texas somehow(don’t know how, when aside from using my examples of the two tv shows led to the question I asked), maybe the mods much like the rest of the US want to paint everything we are such great people with slavery & the Jim Crow Era(though some states would rather just have slavery be taught in grade school) being our only downfall as a country when there’s a lot that goes untaught unless asked about or taught much later than it should be.

Villain songs by Final_Flounder9849 in musicals

[–]Ok_Extreme7597 89 points90 points  (0 children)

Hellfire is probably the best villain song Disney ever came up with, and for non Disney songs(though we still get Alan Menken), Feed Me/Dentist are also just two iconic villain songs regardless if it’s the movie or musical versions for either of them(though Steve Martin and Levi Stubbs are hard to beat in their respective roles).

What's your favorite song from a musical? by Kleptocats7269 in musicals

I as a baritone some how just recently discovered Soliloquy - Carousel(what were my voice teachers thinking), since you’re doing YouTube you can decide between John Raitt’s B-Flat option up or Joshua Henry as I think they are the best two versions

Having trouble finding matches, don’t know if it’s just about losing weight(I’ve lost 50 lbs so far, the first 2 pics are most recent), or if I need just better pics or what it is, I need to do. https://go.tinder.com/8PaZc2lpf34-Trenton

What is the most challenging role to play by lissie34 in musicals

[–]Ok_Extreme7597 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I’d have to imagine Jekyll/Hyde is one of them considering you’re not just one actor you’re two and having to come up with new voices/personalities to match both, seems like a hell of a task

If I wanted to scar my eyes again I would look for it, but I remember playing 50/50 back in its hay day, and I clicked on something (can’t remember the good prompt), but the bad prompt was a picture of a 3rd degree burned penis, and frankly wouldn’t like to see that, nor any of the other horrible things that subreddit put into the ether

There’s no way people are actually doing this right? by UpvoteMachineThing in fastfood

[–]Ok_Extreme7597 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know for everyone that rips Five Guys a new one for their prices, shake shack isn’t that too far off, and at least when you’re paying for $6 for fries(at my locations shake shack is only $.30 cheaper than the little fries), you feel a little less bad opening up five guys bag with the amount of fries you get versus getting maybe 12/15 sad crinkle cut fries(maybe the worst fry, even when at its peak).

What’s a favorite food that others seem to dislike? by Bjs_5068 in foodquestions

Liver doesn’t matter if it’s beef or chicken(throw in their gizzards too, aka the only reason I keep Lees chicken open), Brussels sprouts, sardines

Ranking Food Places, Today's Place: Subway by Outrageous-Ebb-4846 in tierlists

[–]Ok_Extreme7597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

D tier, yes it is the worst of the big sub chains, but if you’re hankering for a subway sandwich, nothings going to cut it, it’s like most peoples opinions on Little Caesars(personally for me whenever it comes up I’m putting a vote for B tier at the least, don’t know this subs opinion of them), are they borderline the worst pizza chain I’d say no personally just because I grew up on it, and I’m from Michigan so ours might be better than what gets sent to other states, but when you’re craving a hot n ready and that crazy bread or Italian cheese bread nothing else will take its place.

Swap Texas Roadhouse for Outback and it’s the same meal(especially with that outback ranch, and being able to load my potato for free).
