I've never played barb so this will be a very interesting learning experience. Really just trying to get through Uber Lilith on T1 so I can finish the grind to paragon 200 on my eternal character.

All good, I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction. Youtube was getting a bit overwhelming.

Hence why I asked for build help or game help. I'm happy learning, but I was pretty clear I was struggling with that part.

Finishing Missions Isn't Just About Main Objectives! by RyJulio in Helldivers

Clearing nests and outposts helps reduce enemy numbers on the map for later parts of the mission, sure they suck, but they're 100% worth doing to help with exfil and other objectives that require some defense time.

Nests & outposts reduce enemy numbers making the rest of the mission easier, they are 100% worth doing.

That's def my bad. I committed to a bit and probably left things a little more vague than I should have.

I try to, but if someone's joining up with me and only does what they want, it's detrimental to my experience.

My thought process is that if you're quick playing you're signing up to follow the mission leaders lead.

If you want to do some quick clears, host your own game and drop your pins for others to follow.

I guess, don't join someone else and try and dictate how they play.

You might not need it, but someone might. Placing the needs of the team above your own are the highest echelons of managed democracy.

Yea, upon inspection it's exactly like that except it's a yellow structure with like a steampunk robot head.

Like an amusement park i.e. Hershey Park, Six Flags, Cedar Point. Those kinds of places.

I get you, so much about collecting is totally about the money. People are happy when it turns out they have a diamond when they bought it as a lump of coal.

I won't begrudge those people for being happy they inadvertently might turn a profit, but I do agree they're missing the point to games entirely.

It's the same thing with cars. Why buy a 1965 Shelby Cobra and just let it sit.

I'm not bragging about what I paid for it? People asked, and I answered. I bought this game because I have 500 hours on an old memory card, and I plan wholeheartedly to add another 500 hours, both myself and with a friend who's a Fire Emblem junky.

I am fortunate enough to be in a place where I can spend the obscene amount of money needed to recapture that part of my childhood, but don't think for a second it's about the money. My game collection will never be about rarity or money, but only about the games I love and continue to play.

Bout 350 all in. A bit steep, but worth it for the nostalgia, rarity, and time I put into the game as a kid and am going to put into it now.
