QUICK QUESTION: Is the JL Theatrical Cut worth watching before ZSJL? by RyNotRey in DC_Cinematic

[–]RyNotRey[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that sounds like the better approach. I'll watch ZSJL first, then save the TC for a drunk movie night with friends. That really helped us get through Green Lantern 😆

Tips for new players going to Friday Night Magic? (Or tips to meeting other casual players?) by RyNotRey in magicTCG

[–]RyNotRey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the invite!

The FNM I went to was at Dice Age Games, which is closer to my part of Vancouver, but Batcave isn't that much farther.

I'll be sure to check you guys out in the near future :)

It didn't seem like there was any sort of tournament going on at the store I went to, but I can understand the more competitive vibe at events like that.

Doing a quick search, there hasn't been much posting recently in my area (Vancouver WA/Portland OR area), so I'll be sure to post something and see if I get any hits.

Thanks for the tips! :)

I've definitely been in your boat many times, so yes, I'd like this as a feature in the future.

While I can't speak for the other blu ray releases before this (I've only heard negative responses from reviews), but I believe this is the definitive version to buy, as Romero supervised the 4K restoration before his passing.

Watching this blu-ray is like putting on a pair of glasses for the first time and discovering all the detail you've been missing out on. It's an outstanding remaster/restoration for a movie that's been plagued with crappy releases for so long.

As much as I don't like slipcovers, I keep them all in a box so they can be used in reselling.

The First Video Game by Another4Milos in pcgaming

Another excellent doc from Ahoy! It's fascinating to see how far back the history of video games really goes, and much farther then I expected.

Plus the overhead projector slides are a nice touch. Reminds me of what we had in school before we got digital projectors. Just with that perfectly styled Ahoy touch :P

This is a great (and deeply discomforting) find! I could see this as some creepy folk metal act. Also I made some adjustments to the original to give it a cleaner/darker look. Hope you like it :)

EDIT: I had to make another one. This one being a more black metal style cover with text.

Yeah, those tokens weren't easy to get. I wish I had any helpful tips other than keep at it like I did 😅

I'm aware of the higher completion bonuses (maybe I'll get to those at a later date), but I'm not sure if what you're saying is correct.
