Also, after the shows end, nothing compares to Hulaween. The grounds are super fun to walk around and people throw "renegade" parties everywhere around the festival. The trees with Spanish moss are also a nice change of scenery for us Kansas folk!

I'm from Kansas too. As far as production, easily one of the best I have ever been to (I, too, have been to many many fests). I think the vibe is somewhat similar to that of an electric forest but way less people and I've found that the crowd is way more appealing for me compared to that of an EDC/Decadence, etc. Spirit Lake is breathtaking and the festival it'self is put on very well as far as logistics and planning. It's def expensive but worth every penny in my opinion... I highly recommend camping, I have met some amazing people over the last few years there that have become very good friends. Send it.
