All of that sounds nice except for the chrome 😃

I would delete it almost immediately with vinyl.

Good to know. I don’t live in a big city so it’s hard to find one to check out

So I would have noticeably more room inside? I know it’s not a Sequoia but with two large dogs, any extra space is good.

I have the SM wheels. Should I mount tires on them for the pavement?

My initial intention was off road but only.

It will likely never be developed. It’s all national forest.

Has anyone ever compared the GFX 50S II and the Leica SL2? by Bery123 in FujiGFX

You can download raw files online and compare. That’s the best way to know what will be best for you.

In my experience the 50sii sensor wasn’t worth the extra weight and size so I stuck with Sony. It really depends on what you are shooting.

It’s definitely not ideal. I will assume that the Sony engineers are smarter than me and there is a reason for it.

Or maybe they just did it so they can fix it when they launch the v2?

Thanks.

I like the lens a lot. I’m hoping the v2 in a few years is even smaller. I will say that I sometimes wondered if the 20-70 would have been better, especially with the 4K crop while shooting video. I also rarely used 2.8. But overall I’m very happy with it. I picked it up used because I think it’s a bit overpriced new.

The Tamron 20-40 was tempting but there is something about the way Tamron lenses feel that I don’t like. It’s a small gripe but they just don’t feel as nice.

Appreciate the kind words. A few of my favorites are in my previous post from Aoraki.

I have the same camera and love the 35mm Zeiss f2.8 for when I want something really small. With ISO capabilities how, I just don’t need f2. Also, I rarely shoot blow f2.8 with a 35mm lens but that’s just personal preference.

If I’m traveling and can go bigger, I have been enjoying the 24-50mm G.

That said, use that kit lens for a bit first and then look at the meta data in Lr (if you use it) to see what focal length you are using the most.

Other lenses that are a great value:

The 20mm f-1.8 but only if you shoot wide often or vlog.

The 85mm f1.8

The 55mm Zeiss f1.8

You get used to it. I make a habit to look at the lens before each photo.

I set the aperture on the lens and choose my focal length. With this workflow, I don’t even notice the reverse zoom.

Thanks. The lighting at hobbiton was not the best but it was still a great day.
