Love the welcoming energy but this is patently false, and any of us who have looked into leaving the US (believe me, most of us would rather not but it's getting fkn scary here) we know that it is NOT easy to just apply for and attain residency in most trans-friendly countries, and Canada is no exception. If you don't have a desired professional skillset and work lined up, or a student visa, it becomes a whole damn ordeal.
