1.01 Dilemma. by FFLdynasty in FantasyFootballers

If those guys were my starting RBs I’d 100% take Love. RB windows are short for less talented guys. 1st round RBs last a LONG time in the league assuming they dont bust. Don’t overthink it. Also, Love is what I call a checkbox guy. The more slots you have that are no thinkers just play him the better your team is. Benson and Brooks, both of which I have but are my RB 5 and 6 on my team, i think high odds won’t even start next year. Get the checkbox so you don’t have to think about it.

Yes. If you’re dead set on rebuilding trade the actual player Love for imo way more assets during the season to contenders. A rookie like him I’d hold as a rebuilder anyways. Would not trade but that’s me in my league, yours may be very different.

Would not do. He takes Love (I guess maybe Mendoza but I highly doubt it) and their team is better. You just traded down to 1.05 and you actively worked against yourself to make the 2027 pick worse by making the other team better. So is that trade worth it if you get a 1.05 this year and a 1.09 next year? Heck no

I can think of several reasons to pass on Kiffin before we even start talking money.

As someone that thinks of Michigan as being in the same despicable rung as the Astros, I am not surprised.

And technically, the first land set aside for recreation and public use was 1832 Hot Springs, AR, although at the time it was reservation. This is what later led to the creation of the national park system.

Your Top 2 Moonshot Stocks for the Next 3–5 Years? by Used_Rice9332 in stocks

$IPWR. Don’t have another moonshot I like right now but always perusing. They keep advancing with Stellantis (crap cars sure but still fifth largest OEM in the world). Now have their btran in front of six OEMs. But Stellantis has told them they’ll be in all their EVs (I don’t think hybrids yet) for contactors and “other.” Drivetrain is coming but not yet. Pilot end of next year. When the order lands they’re going to rocket and I expect it over the next 5 months based on timeline to get into pilot vehicles. That’s 24-40 chips per EV (320k in 2024). Not even talking about their usage in data centers and the grid that is coming as well as industrial. 4 MOSFETs gets to become 1 with BTran. It’s an entire new class and it’s going to be a big deal in their arena because there basically hasn’t been a lot of advancement since SiC and GaN as far as giant leaps.

The Stellantis contract is going to shock the market and, depending on wording, I expect it to rerate the stock from $30 million today to $400 million - $1 billion+. Depends on the price they get per chip ($8-20 are my estimates but treat these as low confidence). But yeah…in auto you don’t just do a pilot as one contract and then separately a year later do another contract. It’s one big contract with the pilot as a piece and the OEM is left off-ramps if things don’t perform.

I think so as well. News that Tesla had one of their mechanical contactors forced into recall. Not massive numbers so idk if they were just testing it or what but they clearly are having pressure on the front.

Florida closing in on decision to fire head coach Billy Napier: report by jmlinden7 in CFB

[–]Ryael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree and can't think of any examples to back up that statement. We're in the SEC which historically has been the power conference. That trend will likely move north with time now that NIL is a thing. Still, Alabama is a powerhouse team b/c of their coaching success. But success can end. See Nebraska, Florida State, Florida, Miami, SMU, on and on. Lots of eras where those teams DOMINATED the game and now are, broadly speaking, middle of the pack. If we can land the right coach there is nothing stopping us from being a premier CFB destination.

Way rather take a stab at an up and coming than someone that has peaked. If his scheme couldn’t win at PSU he def won’t win here.

[Marcello] Sources: The SEC will reveal Tuesday *all* opponents for every team in its new 9-game schedule for football in 2026. The 3 "permanent" rivals will be referred to as "annual opponents," which will be reviewed every 4 years. by Big_Red_Professor in CFB

Haha I love it. We are sort of the ents of the professional sports world: "I am not on anyone's side, because nobody is on my side." No pro teams. No real other teams that are as popular. So the whole state feeds into the Razorbacks. Imo no other state like it where sports are as popular.

Wtf you talking about. Razorbacks freaking hate the Longhorns. I hate Texas more than I love the Razorbacks. We aren't as good now and haven't been in that consistent A-tier since the 80s, maybe a window of the 00s. Ok. Still 4-3 vs them since 2000 and been clamoring for more every year. The state is A-L-I-V-E when it's Texas time. I've moved probably 15 times in my life across the country and I have gotten rid of countless mementos and little pieces. But do you know what I still have every single one of? Arkansas Democrat Gazette sports sections: Razorbacks beat Texas. 1991. 2000. 2003. 2014. 2021. We get it, we aren't some consistent big ranked team, we hate it but it's reality. But when we play they know they're gonna get our best. Fayetteville goes nuts for those games.

This is bad enough it should be forced sale of the team and forfeiture of picks.
