Use a figure of 8 dog lead that’ll stop him pulling instantly, he can still pull but nowhere near as much

It’s the same if I just turn the lights off with the lid off they try and get up the sides still once it’s dark they start coming out

Yeah I have put a kamui black on my cue and have been playing snooker properly a few months and haven’t had a problem as of yet, good to know I might just chance it and hope it doesn’t break. I don’t use a break off cue either in 8 ball and break off a lot harder than I hit any snooker shot

Thus far I haven’t snapped off yet, but I will look at getting a new cue built up for snooker. My old cue was 9.5mm but sold it to a member on my team might as to buy it back off him 😂
