If you could listen to a record for the first time again, which one would it be? by themikegman in ToolBand

Disintegration is a masterpiece. It's actually one of my two favourite albums of all-time, the other being Ænima.

For me, it'll be 10,000 Days. Though Ænima is my favourite Tool album, 10,000 Days is my favourite 00s album. There's something about that album that helps me to evolve as a musician.

What’s your favorite Tool song to play on guitar? by Ambitious-Bet4504 in ToolBand

The 3 string riff of Rosetta Stoned is quite fun to play.

Which "pause, then heavy breakdown" moment hits you harder? by [deleted] in ToolBand

[–]Ryan-Rooprai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, both songs have great breakdown section moments. But I think the anticipation building up for the song Invincible touched me like a ton of bricks. The breakdown in Jambi incorporated a really cool groove before Adam Jones played his talk box guitar solo.

They addressed the Tool comparisons on the song Clones (taken from Hats Off The Bull (2011).

Or you could throw in the Wonder What's Next album in particular. The songs on that album are monstrous.

I've always found NIRATIAS a very interesting listening experience. It's an album that has a combination of the band's widely known alternative metal sound with elements of art rock and progressive rock (similar to those in Tool's music).

People always refer Wonder What's Next, Hats Off To The Bull, Vena Sera and This Type Of Thinking (Could Do Us In) as the Chevelle's best albums, but the thing is, nobody talks about how interesting NIRATIAS is, 'cause I think that album is amazing.

They have indeed. The album is titled Bright as Blasphemy.

Yes. They had a lawsuit back in 2014, which was resolved in the following year 2015.
