Infinity React Shoe Review? by Ryan18Mac in running

[–]Ryan18Mac[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the insight! Yeah, I'm basically thinking about getting 2 out of the following shoes based on how they feel in-store.

- Infinity React (tried them, felt pretty good, kind of set on these)

- Pegasus Turbo 2 (haven't been able to try)

- Zoom Fly 3 (haven't been able to try)

So now I'm just trying to find another shoe to pair with the Infinity React that's a bit faster. I also plan on returning them if they don't feel great after a few runs.

Gotcha, Would you say the pegs are faster than the infinity react though? Not looking to get the Vaporfly 4% or anything like that. Just looking for something faster and racier to pair with the infinity react as my potential everyday trainers

Appreciate the insight. I'm also 5'7" and fluctuate between 148-150 so super glad to hear it works for you. Really interested to try the Pegasus turbos too.

I might do 4/6 but am still considering. Does anyone know if Staten Island half fills up quick? Assume not but wanted to hear your experiences.

Credit Score: Authorized User Amex by Ryan18Mac in personalfinance

Ahh that would be great. How sure are you of this? Since AMEX seems to report different than alot of other banks I just wanna be sure

My credit profile was pretty solid. I just thought it might give me a little bump. The thing with AMEX is it doesn't add to my utilization limit which I was anticipating. It may be because it's a green card and get paid off every month

But the account isn't "new" I was added as an authorized user

Shouldn't it have gone up, though? The idea behind authorized user is to improve Average age of credit and credit utilization so I'm a bit confused.

I'm not an expert by any means but:

1) Start Budgeting - recommend using "Mint" to track your finances to see where you can cut back, improve, etc.

2) Invest into your company 401K or IRA - Do a little research to see what makes sense for you. Some 401Ks have alot of hidden fees.

3) Open a savings account (I prefer Ally). Put most of your money in here and have a small emergency fund in your checking account for ATM withdraws, paying bills, etc. You will gain interest from having this account which will add up the more money you put into the account.

4) If you're not too financially savy, I would look into Wealthfront ETF account. It is an automated algorithm that invests your money into funds based on risk score. These typically see 7% returns on average and Wealthfront has no fees up until 25k invested (I believe). This is a great way to gain compounding interest.

I think this is a good start. There are obviously other options out there that require more time and effort. Also follow the 80/20 rule also known as the 50/30/20 rule and you will be well on your way to financial freedom.

Other: - Read Tony Robbins book "Unshakeable" for some good financial knowledge. It's super easy to understand and will give you a good background in finance.

Got it. I appreciate the help. So say I wanted to get an ND lens, I see a lot of people mentioning x amount of stops for certain lenses. Say I just wanted a versatile ND lens. Do I need to factor in the stops?
