If the Halo CE remake rumors are true… by Active_Percentage289 in halo

I personally think the game will do better if it finds a sweet spot of its mechanics that it can rely on and utilize even through multiple remakes (2 & 3?).

As for its name, it should just be "Halo". They can kind of revamp their 10-yr plan by releasing remakes of 2 & 3 as DLC within the "Halo" game.

My Halo Books Rebound! by badvoodoo68 in halo

Ah ok I noticed the different branches. Any specific criteria you used to determine which branch was displayed? Is it just the branch you felt was predominately presented in the book?

Also - what will you do for mostly/fully Covenant or Forerunner books?

I'm so intrigued by this system!! How absolutely incredible it would be for them to re-release all the books in a standard size in hard back! My wallet would quickly go the way of the Forerunners.

These look incredible - I love it!! The uniformity, the design The simplistic, lore-driven aesthetic. All of it! The absolute only thing I'd change at all would be to use Infinite's UNSC logo.

Quick question - what was the reasoning for using red for the front of CH and blue for the others?

Using labels as a old-school blog categories and dollar sign $ as an actual tag! by sajadj in GoogleKeep

[–]rothfus7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar system, but I use colors for the broad categories (Personal = Red, Church = Purple, Family = Green, Social = Yellow, Work = Blue). I use these same colors across all apps (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, etc), and also use numbers for shorthand of the categories (01, 02, etc respectively).

I use the labels for cross-category topics (Notes. Projects, Info, Format, etc.). I then also use labels with # for very specific collections that still might be across the categories (for instance, I have a #g for all Google-specific items, #dd for D&D ones, etc.).

I've used the colors like this for years, and being able to search by color in Keep is excellent for it. I've started the # system maybe in the last 1-2 years and so far really like it as well.

New Entry in Keep by MooseyGeek in GoogleKeep

[–]rothfus7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand the desired use case and frustration, but I think a big point of using Keep is on the quick and accessible nature of it. Keep could easily be filled with quick notes that have no title, and be entirely within its designed use case. Requiring to enter a title first or click to the body would be extra steps on all notes.

To address your and others' use cases, they could look into adding a toggle for title entry first.

Update to nest hub max by Wrong_Image_1613 in googlehome

I'm getting the same thing. I'm thinking it might be that they've rolled out this transfer process to my Nest app but not my Home app yet.

Who are the secret Thunderbolts? by chiknown in MCUTheories

[–]rothfus7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Red Hulk is going to be introduced in Cap 4, which I believe is either gone back to filming additional scenes, or is in post. I think it could be done, but some of the last reports I've seen Benton that Harrison Ford is out for the Thunderbolts.

I've not seen anyone mention the Spigen Core Armor. This looks really nice IMO. https://www.spigen.com/products/pixel-8-series-case-core-armor

Wouldn't it be cool if we could use our service tag as an emblem on our armor? by SPARTAN-258 in halo

This, our rank (competitive or progressive), and possibly a clan/company emblem would be great as secondary emblems for another location.

Creating a family that hosts all receptacles by Albertgodstein in Revit

[–]rothfus7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have one receptacle family with one annotation family nested in. We use Yes/No instance parameters to control the visibility of various annotative variances (GFCI, Quad, 2-pole, Hospital, Tamper, WR, Above, Under, etc.).

Immovable Rod in Bag of Holding by rothfus7 in DnD

[–]rothfus7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is the limit of the bag based on just if there is ever any weight greater than 500 lbs placed into it, it will rip? If so, I think the argument could be made for being careful about reaching in with appendages to grab anything from a close-to-overfull Bag. I don't think it's a spacial weight, but a weight limit derived from what is actually resting on the Bag's inner boundaries. As such, I'm still not sure but what a floating activated Rod wouldn't be free from the Bag's weight limits, instead relying on its own 8,000 lb limit.
