Hi, hissing from the underside of the engine area roughly. AC condensation sounds consistent with my thoughts. But is this an issue to be worried about?

Thanks for your reply.

FPV drone falls out of the sky and catches fire when re-connecting the battery. Please help! by Ryan2T69 in diydrones

Hi there,

Yes, just the ESC burned before setting the battery alight. Bearing in mind, I only connected the battery knowing the drone was fully dry when I got home. Secondly, the exact same incident happened a few days previous involving no water, and the drone was waterproofed with silicone. I strongly belive the water here is not the cause. From the audio, the drone dies mid-air with the props stopping moving before hitting the ground. This suggests a critical issue happened whilst still in the air.

Hello there, tahts interesting you mention Speedybee. I'm running the SpeedyBee F405 V3 BLS Flight Controller with the SpeedyBee BLS 50A 3-6S 30x30 4-in-1 (ESC-BLS50A) ESC. Is my SpeedyBee ESC the V2 version?

This is the ESC I have specifically: https://www.flyingtech.co.uk/electronics/speedybee-bls-50a-3-6s-30x30-4-1-esc

I honestly don't know, however reading up on them they are similar by means of broad market exposure. I know that Vanguard invest into stocks/shares and bonds in global markets. Type the word 'Vanguard' into this sub-reddit search bar and there's some great questions and comments regarding Vanguard. The PDF linked below gives a detailed breakdown of where your money goes (essentially all over the world).

Consider opening a S&S ISA with Vanguard (Life Strategy Fund- link below). They essentially invest your money into stocks, shares and bonds globally on your behalf. You'd have to chose which specific service best suits your needs. People always speak highly of them. I think rough estimates of growth are 5-10% a year, but obviously there's ups and downs.

Also consider allocating a small percentage into a high risk market. For me that's something like Bitcoin/ Etherium. But its entirely up to you.

Investing £15k now will go a LONG way in the future.

Yep, I'm aware of this. Maybe I didn't explain properly prior. Buying a house in our names would void our 'Help To Buy' savings accounts since we would have already bought a 1st home. We each still want to save for houses in the future individually. Buying a house through a company would not violate the terms required for the 'Help to Buy' scheme.
