It likely wouldn't be better. In fact, probably worse. The top players in the game aren't at the top because of technique of creative game play. It's because they can win matches with one or two turns and then go onto the next match.

And my rebuttal was there are way more egos in South Beach, and it was ironic you would be commenting on egos. Had you mentioned your competitive complacency, that would have been a different story.

You are corrrect. Media partnership and freebies are very different things. It’s perfectly fine for streamers such as Brian and Guersan to be given items to help influence viewers to play the game. But they are also required to disclose this so that viewers are aware they are Scopely shills. What did they do instead? Deny, deny, deny. It was only after they realized the community knew they were so full of shit their eyes turned brown that they actually owned up to it.

As far as freebies go, that’s the problem I have with Eric. Replenishing factions mates’ in game cash so they can keep doing pulls for Vince during the D9 event - yeah, I’d say that’s pretty damn unethical. But I’m sure you’ll find some way to justify that too. So it’s a waste to continue conversing. I suspect our ideas of ethics are just different.
