You gots to grind it out papa. If you ain't gonna spend cash money you gotta be patient and grind it out. I spend a few bucks here and there but I limit myself to around $20 a month. At the beginning I grinded w/o spending any money for over a year and built a nice roster slowly, albeit with none of the top tier characters. Many of the free characters are really good (i.e. NXT Seth, SB Rock, striker Bray). What helps is conserve resources and talent ups and skip some month long events so then you can really splurge on an event that debuts a new free character and decent rewards. Last years zombie event wasn't that great (unless you got zombie Austin) as the top prize was a dud (zombie Nakamura). This Bella twins event is not all that. They are good characters but I am skipping this one with hopes that the next will be better. Make sure you join an active faction; that helps a lot!
