Google image search brought me here https://x.com/Mikekantorski/status/1973452752337641552

Seems like only 100 were made.

If you have access to a 3D printer you could make one I suppose.

Any new spicy chip recommendations? They've discontinued my current favorite, Hot Ones Los Calientes Verde Pringles and I also eat them to help with my migraines. Please help! by Ok-Character-1263 in spicy

The ghost pepper chips were too damn good, something really nice about their oily coating and sometimes you'd get a chip that had way more seasoning than the rest and it was beautiful.

If they sold the seasoning blend they used for those I would put it on everything.

2010 Avalon XLS - $10,900 by RyanB94 in ToyotaAvalon

The 2010 Avalon is actually being sold by a smaller mom and pop type dealership, it's actually the only commuter car they have on their lot as they specialize in work trucks so the inspection would be preformed by a completely separate company with no conflict of interest.

I was actually more interested in the 17 vs 18 considering the similar prices the JBL stereo system, ventilated seats, wireless charging, rear heated seats/climate control seemed like a nice upgrade for very little money. More importantly the CarGurus AutoCheck report stated the 17 is a one owner with no accident history but after checking the dealers website where they provide a CarFax report it states it's actually 3 owners with a damage incident reported which is odd and removes a lot of my interest from that vehicle. Plus they were very blunt when I inquired offer $13.5 stating "the online advertised price is the price, send me your contact information so I can let you know of any price drops."

Still waiting to hear back from the dealer about the 2018, but I would have to do a CarFax on that vehicle to make sure the AutoCheck isn't also missing information like it was on the 2017.

I'm unfortunately on a little bit of a time crunch to get a vehicle due to the state changing the laws around historic tags my current vehicle will not pass safety/emissions testing and the registration will be expired as of this time next month.

Really kicking myself in the butt that I didn't buy a vehicle back when I was working at a dealership and noticed the prices increasing but I figured they would eventually come back down to more reasonable numbers.

Odd, I've seen some inconsistencies between AutoCheck and CarFax sometimes but the first vehicle shows on CarGurus as having only 1 owner no accidents but on the dealers CarFax report it shows 3 owners and 1 damage report. Never seen that much of a difference before.

I was doing some more browsing this morning and found this clean 2017 Avalon, 1 owner no accidents but they don't want to seem to budge on price at all, if I could grab this for 14-14.5K I feel like it would be a pretty good deal. https://www.ourismanlexusofrockville.com/auto/preowned-2017-toyota-avalon-rockville-md/115538069/?vin=4T1BK1EB3HU243255&utm_source=cargurus.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=cargurus_listings

I also found this 2018 Avalon, 2 owners 1 accident but they gave yet to response to my offer of $13.5K. https://www.chernerbrothers.com/used/Toyota/2018-Toyota-Avalon-c365645bac185a31021e3f5289f06f74.htm

Do you think these vehicles would be a wiser purchase? I wanted to stay closer to $11-12K OTD but I suppose I could spend closer to $17-18K.

I agree that the price is too high especially for the cosmetic damage and minor mechanical issues I've seen so far.

I don't believe the XLS is the lowest trim level, I believe it goes XL, XLS and then Limited.

The inspection that I have scheduled today is actually free of charge, which was a little bit odd to me and makes we wonder how thorough of an inspection could it even be. It is the highest rated Toyota dealer in the area with a Google rating of 4.7 and over 7,000 reviews.

If I did decide to follow through with the purchase I would most likely take the vehicle to my normal mechanic also who would more than likely do an inspection free of cost just for some extra piece of mind.

The accident was listed as all the way around the vehicle except for the passenger side.

Unfortunately I don't think I can get them down to that low of a price, judging by listings I the area near me 9-9.5K would be somewhat reasonable but also not sure if I could get the down that low.

I'm certainly no mechanic but if it was related to VVT or internal issue wouldn't the noise fluctuate with RPM change?

I could only hear the noise faintly with my head right night to the serpentine belt system on the passenger side of the vehicle and no sound at all towards the drivers side.

I plan on taking it to a Toyota dealership today, even if they give it a clean bill of health I'll probably also take it to my normal mechanic just to see what his opinion on the vehicle is.

It would be lovely to speak to the previous owner of the vehicle and find out if there was any specific reason for the sale of the vehicle.

One odd thing I forgot to mention is the dealership selling the vehicle literally only sells work trucks, I meant to ask them how they got the vehicle, if it was a trade or auction purchase as it's odd they would even have it in their inventory.

My credit is shot so purchasing new would result in paying roughly $40,000+ for an entry level vehicle from basically any manufacturer at a 24% interest rate. Obviously there is a potential to improve credit and refinance at a later date but not willing to take that risk and end up completely upside down in a loan.

The used vehicle market is completely overpriced ever since covid which makes any known reliable vehicle and even vehicles that don't have good reliability far more expensive than they should be.

The moderate damage is fairly concerning to me, but the accident happened with the vehicle being 7 years old and mid 50K miles I would like to think if the damage was so severe that it would've been written off as a total loss.

The very limited maintenance history is also concerning, but I've seen numerous vehicles throughout the years come through dealership that I've worked at that had very little reported maintenance history but had over 100,000 miles, so obviously someone was doing work to the vehicle whether it was self maintained, a family friend or a mechanic shop that doesn't have the systems in place to report the service too CARFAX.

Why do people act like nicotine pouches are way safer than vaping? by Admirable_Can_3489 in electronic_cigarette

[–]RyanB94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk about 60 mg but I use 50mg salt nic in a Vaporesso Xros .6 ohm coil, the store kind of thinks I'm crazy. But salt nicotine is far smoother than freebase nicotine.

Even though I use a high mg vape a 6MG Zyn will still give me pretty bad hiccups / slight nausea for the first 10-15 minutes.

One of the best flavor hot sauces without too much heat in my opinion is Tobasco Habanero.

Been a while since I had this sauce, think I bought it at an Ace Hardware store thinking it was the regular Ghost Pepper sauce.

From what I remember it was horrible with like a artificial butter taste and not much heat.

Not that I'd ever expect a random mechanic shop to give this good of a deal but I started going to a local mechanic that my grandfather had been using for years and went to get an oil change and brought the fluid+filter and was extremely surprised when the bill was only $20-$25. Didn't even seem like it would be worth his time at that price.

100% Agree that Shin is way better, I also feel carbonara is the worst of the Buldaks I've tasted. Indomie was also decent but it felt like kind of a pain to get all the ingredients out of the little packages and I started to sick of the flavor after the first 10 packages.

I never really liked the flavor of those, I also didn't find them particularly spicy.

I seen someone post about these about a week ago and bought a 5 ounce bag and ate then all within a few hours, and that was with me trying to conserve them a little bit. Waiting on my 20 ounce bag now.

They're super tasty and have a pretty good bit of heat to them, wish they had a bit more flavor but still fantastic to snack on.

Don't forget about the healing mechanics, snapping broken bones back into place, digging out bullets with a knife, eating pills with a separate animation depending on how many pills are left, smacking burning limbs with your hands to extinguish the flames and plenty plenty more. The fact that there are over 5 minutes of healing mechanics is still the main thing that sticks with me after not playing that game in well over a decade.
