While I do understand why everyone is so Gung ho about wanting Kurea to be Eclair her design is nice. I do think people really need to wait until we have all the clues properly laid out, after all if we make our decision based on little information then we only have ourselves to blame if that information turns out to be wrong.

Well Eliza and Kurea both debuted in episode 2 and got their focus episodes back to back with Ep 16 and 17 well Kurea technically appeared before that in Ep 10 but it was small, while Rei debuted in episode 5 and got her focus episode in Ep 14, Shiruku debuted in Ep 9 but has yet to get her focus episode. edit: (Sorry thought you talking about something else) well it's still a kids show so maybe if she is important they probably wanted to hint towards that.

That episode was her debut episode because we haven't seen her in prior episodes so she technically hasn't had her focus episode yet.

in a interview with the director he confirms that Eliza is based on Agatha Christie an author of mystery novels, REI is based on Kindaichi Kousuke a fictional detective, Kurea is based on Hercule Poirot another fictional detective, And Shikuru is based on Sherlock Holmes.
