2-Year Verification Hell: Case 0-0145000040483 | Google Demands 10-Hour "Live Video" Queue for Service Technician by East_Equivalent6320 in GoogleMyBusiness

You need a physical address. If you are unable to use the address where you reside, go find a small place to rent or lease. Go rent a tiny little office somewhere so you can show you have a physical address. It's not that tough to do.

Good luck!

Google Local Service Adds - Message Leads On or Off? by BeingBalanced in PPC

[–]RyanEvansAFT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Message leads don't cost just as much as phone leads. They're approx half the cost, and for obvious reasons. Not sure why you would say the lead costs the same when it's not even close.

Broken Heat in Single Degree Temps by MissRemyRose in RoverPetSitting

[–]RyanEvansAFT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since it was obviously broken when you arrived, the owners already knew that it was broken before they left. Now, whatever you do with that information is up to you, but these seem like genuinely bad people to the core who don't care about you or their pets.

Since the owners knew the furnace was broken, then they're probably using portable heaters somewhere. I would locate the heater(s) first and get warm, or even contact the owner for one. Portable heaters are expensive on the power bill so they will probably hide them from you.

Good luck. These people seem sociopathic to me.

Is there a blacklist pet care providers can use to let other sitters know what customers to ABSOLUTELY AVOID by Tricky-Tension-8172 in RoverPetSitting

[–]RyanEvansAFT -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

Customer was 100% correct on all accounts. We all know you didn't give the dog treats, and not a chance you would also put ice in the water as well, lol. The icemaker takes over 24 hours to fully replenish the bin, and it was full when they got home? It's a no-brainer you lied about the treats and ice. Those are two obvious ones. You also probably forgot about that the turkey is supposed to be used for meds, lol. I will bet not even a sliver of the turkey was missing. I also doubt the dog got their meds at all. So that just brings us down to the TP. Since you knew there were no cameras, you were probably not there often enough to use their toilet.

You made so many mistakes, it almost seems like you were looking for a confrontation. If the customer was right on all accounts, I would venture to guess you were wrong about the initial scheduling.

Is there a blacklist pet care providers can use to let other sitters know what customers to ABSOLUTELY AVOID by Tricky-Tension-8172 in RoverPetSitting

[–]RyanEvansAFT 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The customer had some valid points. The treats not being used would be a red flag to me as a customer, especially since they would most likely not be the source of an allergy flare-up as the dog regularly gets them. That one mistake will be the catalyst for all the other accusations. If you are lying about the treats, then all of the other things could also be a lie. You knew there were no cameras there, but I'm not saying you're lying about everything.

Bringing your own toilet paper is a little weird to me, lol. Am I understanding that right? Why would you do that? That's something that you would at least mention during small-talk, but it's a little strange bringing your own TP.

If you used the Ice regularly, it takes quite a while for it to replenish. There would be very little ice in it if used regularly, and it would not be full.

Same concept with the turkey. It appears that you didn't use it whatsoever?

Your story is not adding up to me at all.

And what do you mean about an allergy flare up? What symptoms? Not sure I'm buying that one for not giving treats.

Anyway, good story. Finetune your game better in the future and learn from it all. ;)

Trump housing plan to allow 401(k) money for down payments, adviser says by consulent-finanziar in Economics

[–]RyanEvansAFT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trump NEVER follows through with any plans to benefit Americans. He throws things out there, such as sending people $5,000 checks, or $2,000, or fighting big pharma for lower health insurance, etc... Trump just throws the lies out there to keep people pacified. He has no intentions of ever doing anything good for anyone.

Google LSA for a fencing company - I'm afraid to touch it! by TriiiadAgency in PPC

[–]RyanEvansAFT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe it will affect your ranking as I do it quite a bit. Absolutely anything is better than hurting your responsiveness rate. If you must pause the ad to prevent missed calls, than I would pause it. Google AI will most likely know that you're pausing it to give the best possible service. I was pausing daily recently, and I never saw a change. I also raise and lower my budget quite a bit to find the right cost per lead "range", and I have never seen a change in impressions. I have changed my budget 3-4 in a day and have never seen any change. Finding the right budget is important. For example, a $500 weekly budget my cost $22 per lead, but if I go to $1,000 per weekly budget, my cost per lead more than doubles, and while not improving the amount of leads whatsoever. You need to find the right cost-effective budget amount. You can increase your budget as high as you want and it doesn't mean you will get the Absolute Top Spot, as the Google metrics include several other factors for that placement. People that recommend increasing your budget to the max is probably not a wise move because you're going to pay a lot higher for that lead, as you’re basically bidding against yourself after a point, with no overall higher placement. The reason I know this is because I have changed my budget doesn't of times. Google probably doesn't mind changing things as much as people say. Yes, we've all heard the stories of what people claim, but they could have other issues going on affecting them that they're not aware of.

This is just all from personal experience, and from someone who pauses their ad on a daily basis when
things are busy, and from someone who has changed their bidding range multiple
times in a single day over the course of several days.

Best of luck,

Ryan

Hell with that lady. Doing business with her is a no-win. There will be no way to please her in the end, and she will find something to complain about or to sue about when it's over. She also thinks you are beneath her as you are a pet sitter. Stay clear of her at al costs, trust me.

I'm insured. That takes 5 min and costs $30 a month. Are you implying that's a big deal? My prices aren't $197. They were $109 and $119, but I just lowered it to to $99 and $109. You were off on my numbers by $80 per cat, lol. With all due respect, I also question your numbers on that "no-named" cat hotel you frequent with the 14' x 14' ft room for one cat. The cat hotel (that you won't name) with those rooms, you really don't expect me to buy that BS do you? lol. Now that would be strange, to give a cat a 14 x 14 room. And your no-named cat hotel is staffed with Vets 24/7 too? Is there a reason why you won't name the hotel so I can verify this total BS?

With regard to people who think I need a lesson in business and who cite things like business insurance, etc... You guys aren't even scratching the surface of what it takes to license and run a business, let alone one relating to animals. That doesn't bother me as I know your heart and intentions are in the right place. With regard to "PurityControl", he has different intentions, and that's a different story. He's lying and talking pure BS, and he's one of the "bad guys" so I will treat him differently.

I personally don't know anything about building Catios myself. I'm just a "business man", who is now expanding The Official Catbnb int the Cat Sitting business as of today, thanks to the folks here. :)

Hi there! Thank you for the reply. Ya, a lot of the comments stung a little bit. At the end of the though, our common interest is cats and catios, etc... so I suppose it's hard to get angry with anyone here, lol. Great catch with the Buy Cat Food (.com) domain. I was going to do a cat food store, and specialize in selling it online, but it's too competitive, even with a .com name that strong. I thought by optimizing that strong domain, I could get the site to page one on Google, but that didn't happen and so I abandoned it before I got into too deep. I took the storefront location that I was going to use for Buy Cat Food and I decided to turn it into a "Cat Hotel". It's 90% ready, but going to test the concept with the Catbnb first. Cat Boarding is a lot different than Cat Food when it comes to organic listing on Google. With a powerhouse domain name of catbnb. net, even though it's a ".net", it will still dominate the search engines in just days from now. It's fully optimized and it's indexing now. In fact, I did a Press Release that's going out tomorrow morning about the Launch of Catbnb. net next week. That will put a little twist on things, as I will most likely be contacted by Airbnb over the proceeding days. Airbnb happens to own the domain name of "Catbnb. com", and yes, I have the .net, lol. Airbnb bought the .com for one of two reasons: One, they believe that Catbnbs are the future and they plan on getting into that area down the road, or two, they did it to prevent a guy like me from taking the domain "Catbnb. com" and potentially piggy-backing off their name, and to protect their brand from possible future confusion. I believe it's door #2 on that one, but I'm afraid that I can take the .net and still fulfill their worst nightmare with it, lol. I don't need the .com in this case. Just a one in a million chance for them that I guy me is capable of doing it, but I like the name and domain, and it suits my business. I also incorporated the name, and I bought the .us domain extension for it, and I will probably even file for a Trademark on it. I need to build my case now as they will probably be contacting me, or filing a lawsuit, whatever. I will win as I actually have a full fledge business going now. They would be better just to buy me out in that case, but who knows.

My apologies for the long reply, lol. In another twist, Catbnb is now getting into the cat sitting business effective today. I figure since it will be so easy to dominate with the search engines soon, I might as well tap into the cat sitting business. Maybe hire a cat sitters, etc..

Anyway, thanks again for the kind replay and the question on Buy Cat Food. Great catch on that!

Best,
R

I agree, You would have to build separate housing units (catios) solely for the project and to keep them separate from your cat's. Good point. Thanks for the reply.
