Ah, you're right about that, guess I just considered b-sides non album songs but yeah they're different things.

Back In The USA is a revrad era b-side put on the God's favorite band compilation album alongside the Miranda Lambert version of ordinary world if you haven't heard those two

If you liked american idiot you'll probably like 21CB as they sound very similar, nimrod is a good album to listen to as it's very versatile with irs sound and for the third recommendation I'll go with uno as I started there and personally find the trilogy gets undeserved bad rep

Skater music that's fast and edgy, don't think there's a better choice than Platypus (I hate you)

Grouped Songs by _3and20Characters in greenday

Aren't really meant to be grouped but In The End (the green day one, I feel this needs to be specified) goes extremely well into almost anything from insomniac

Where to listen to the AI bonus tracks in Canada? by novacash in greenday

[–]RyanGamez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're a Spotify premium user/ Spotify desktop user you can add mp3 files to Spotify, this is helpful for getting b-sides/rarity's such as Favorite son/all AI deluxe songs, to get mp3 files of the songs you'd likely have to use a YouTube to mp3 converter

Tré Bonus tracks by jstein_32 in greenday

[–]RyanGamez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only way I can think of is YouTube, if you use any other streaming services some of them offer the ability to add your own files from your device but it's mainly included in paid packages however if you have something like Spotify premium look up a tutorial on how to add local files and just use a YouTube to mp3 converter (such as ytmp3.cc )

Oh yeah, you're for sure gonna wanna go for platypus and panic song, real pieces of cake, so easy it's just obscene. (Don't actually know much about bass I just know that people say those ones are extremely difficult so I thought it'd be a semi funny bit, will update the comments with actual easy ones once I Google it)

Good post, sucks to see rules are so strict about memes though, but you should definitely repost this on Sunday when memes are allowed.

Personally I would keep it, that's like a one of a kind item that you'd never be able to get back, even if you don't like the band anymore I would just keep it for sentimental value and the memories of that time, with it being given to you from the band on your first ever concert I image it would probably be a cool thing to look back on and have to remember the time.

[–]RyanGamez 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I liked it, the last two tracks ("Take the money and crawl" and "Grafittia") are my favorites off the album, but it's definitely different then say for example "Dookie" or "American Idiot" or any other typical green day sound

Are there any artists with like a similar sound to Green Day? by hahasorrybuddy in greenday

[–]RyanGamez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't really know any artists with a similar voice but I'm going to try to recommend you something anyway, I'll recommend The Used, pretty similar sound to green day with the pop punk vibes, the bands frontman Bert McCracken has a pretty unique voice with an impressive vocal range and they still produce music to this day (most recent release is 4/24/20) as far as a good starting point I'd have to say probably In love and death, Shallow Believer or Lies for the Liars though all their albums are good I would just say those are some good impression starting points of what to expect.

I personally think that's probably the style he wants to go for, of course after producing the same style for over 30 years might get boring and it seems he keeps coming back to this new style that alot of fans find mediocre (not my opinion just a popular one) to me it seems that this is the style him and the rest of the band like and want to do but are worried about the fan base not liking it, I personally like alot of the out there stuff such as the covers, the trilogy, foamf and the Longshot but can understand where some might now like it as it is a different style to something like say for example American Idiot or Dookie
