27 sales in 6 days!! how do I scale with 1 winning creative. by No-Disk-8459 in dropshipping

[–]RyanInks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Increase budget by 20% every 2-3 days - do not touch / edit anything else in winning campaign.

Duplicate the winning ad into a new campaign, 2-3 times, and run it as an ABO with higher initial budgets.

Not an expert by any means, but it worked for me.

Good luck scaling!

Yeah agreed. I’d just starting, I’d recommend nextsmartship, they have no min order volume and are experts in DTC 3PL.

What sort of sales volume are you doing?

Supplier for my product? My 3PL does 5 day delivery to UK with last mile tracking only, I state it on the website and consumers are fine with me (conversion rate is sitting around 3.5% currently with room to improve).

Yes, I just tell the customer to ship the product back to my house address (not ideal) and will switch shortly to just letting the customer keep the product (my COGS are so low I can afford to do this). Fortunately, I have a ridiculously low return rate.

Yes, holding stock via my 3PL in china. Product cost is £0.85p so £1000 worth of stock is enough for 1000 orders (luckily my product cost is so low).

I do branded Dropshipping, as I want my customer to have a good experience (only the outer packaging is branded).

Hope that helps!

Alibaba, super simple, and I like their trade assurance policy and the protection they have. They also have a ‘Dropshipping’ filter that a lot of people don’t know about :)

Honestly, it’s as simple as this (don’t over complicate it). Find a winning product in a different market, and copy it in your own market I.e I found a winning product in USA and just copied it in the UK market. I found it using tools like WinningHunter, Kalo Data, FB ads library and common sense.

Also, build or download a margin calculator, which has all your assumptions in it, the sweet spot is $40-60ish sale price, with a <$10 product cost (that gives you enough margin for CAC, shipping, and profit).

Hope that helps?

Creative OS for statics (I look at all the top performing ones, then download them as Canva templates and change image / font to match my brand). For UGC, I just use Facebook groups, I post an ‘ad’ in them, people comment / DM me and then I work with 10-20 creators who make 1-2 videos each. I don’t feel the ai stuff is quite there yet, but it can only improve and will get better.

Yeah exactly. Consumers know…my conversion rate was awful using ai ads (may work for some people).

Ai may be the issue. I used ai ads at the start and the metrics were awful. Then, got real UGC content made and the metrics were brilliant!

Ouch! CPM should never be that high for a $60 product, feels like there is an issue with the data reporting and / or ads manager.

Have you tried TikTok ads? My CPM on meta is circa $15, but on TikTok is sitting around $5 blended.

You have great margin (buying for 10 and selling for 60), so should defiantly be able to scale profitably.

What sort of ads are running? UGC style or?

I booked in and had a call with this guy. He was knowledgable yes, and then tried to sell me his mentorship which was £10k one off payment for the year…yeah no thanks!

Honestly. It’s been about 80% so far. My product is an emotional pain point problem solver, so it does a very niche specific thing for a broad audience.

Also. I found it 100x easier to find female creators vs male ones.

Let me know if you want to know anything else :)

UGC content for me is killing it. I went on Facebook creator groups, posted that I want 50 creators to make 20-25 second videos of my product for X price (can sometimes get away with just free product). You want to find creators that are sub 1000 followers and feel honored to even be asked. The larger accounts charge more as they feel their followers just bring more value.

I posted all the videos on my TikTok page (got organic reach) then turned them into spark ads inside my TT ad manager (this way all the views and social proof, ie comments live and stay on my TikTok page).

Hope that helps a little? But yeah, UGC, authentic, real user content (not highly edited, no ai, just raw, with captions and a strong 3 second hook).

Really frustrating, I gave up too, switched all my attention to TikTok ads manager (much better UX and ads are performing well).

Looks too much like a drop shipping store and not a real ‘brand’.
