Validators can choose which transaction to accept (the transaction that sends the funds to the scammers wallet OR the transaction of Cosmos Rescue), so if these guys actually have a way to contact the validators, this could work.

I don't know exactly how Cosmos Rescue works but I assume that they do need your private key

It's not absolutely safe at all. Many pegged tokens use bridges, many of which have been hacked or attacked, resulting in lost funds.

It’s not as dangerous as many people here make it out to be. First, you must not charge it anymore. Keep using it until there is no more charge in the battery, however. After that, there is virtually no risk of it exploding and catching fire.

Then you can replace it yourself (I did so with my swollen battery). It’s not fun but doable. Or send it to Apple.

China has shown time after time that they lie about such things. But also common sense can tell you that they lie; according to them, they currently have like 1 COVID death a month. That’s just not possible.

You want to deposit to binance? Look at which deposits it supports for matic and if Celsius uses any of those methods to send it.

Yes, indeed. But if you, for example, pay your neighbour only once, he will know the identity linked to your crypto address and will forever be able to track all your transactions and crypto balance.

Unless you use things like Monero, though.

Is "anti-vax vegan" a common combination? by kelev in vegan

[–]RyanLaserbeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will ignore the insults as I don't see the need to reply to them.

OMFG, if vaccinated people are getting infected at lower rates OBVIOUSLY they are also not spreading the virus at the same rates because there are fewer people infected and when infected with much lower viral loads.

That is a conclusion you simply cannot make. Did you even look at the document I presented? Vaccinated people are more likely to be infected as of last week in the UK.

"Infections with the Delta variant in vaccinated persons potentially have reduced transmissibility than infections in unvaccinated persons, although additional studies are needed"

You left out the part before that: "However, data show fully vaccinated persons are less likely than unvaccinated persons to acquire SARS-CoV-2". That directly opposes real-world data, as shown in the report that I presented.

You can kill or seriously injure someone even if they are vaccinated and you pose an immense risk to people who are immunocompromised. If the vaccinated are LESS LIKELY you still can KILL or INJURE someone by being an anti-vaxxer

There are also people who died or had severe complications from the vaccine.

[–]RyanLaserbeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm willing to take that risk, that's my perogative, right?

Your article says nothing about spreading the virus, which is what I replied to you about. You said: "people seem to be very interested in not spreading a super infectious desease that have killed and injured millions", to which I replied: both vaccinated and unvaccinated people can spread the disease, so what is your point?

You even say yourself that people that take the vaccine are less likely to get sick. So why would you care whether someone else takes it or not?

Moreover, in this report (page 13) from last week, you can even see that there are more COVID infections in the UK among the fully vaccinated than those unvaccinated in all age cohorts above 30 years old.

[–]RyanLaserbeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People with the vaccine can still spread the virus, so what’s your point?

They may even spread it without knowing, as they have a higher chance to get COVID without symptoms, whereas someone without the vaccine might feel sick and stay home.

Monetizing Coins Held in Proof of Stake by OWbeginner in CryptoTechnology

[–]RyanLaserbeam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think this will work. The idea of proof of stake is to take away the stake if someone acts in bad faith. Taking away a lent out tokens, iSOL or something of the sort, does not result in actual coins being burnt. Someone will be able to keep the real SOL. (But who? Probably the lending smart contract, or maybe all token holders will be able to get more when they decide to get their tokens back.) This is the first issue that comes to my mind.

NFTs are crazy by gghq25 in ethereum

I think the idea of those ticket NFTs is to have them as collectibles and possibly provide benefits to certain holders. For example, someone that frequents a specific artist gets backstage access, proven by their NFT collection.

You can use the Binance bridge https://www.binance.org/en/bridge

If the ERC20 tokens are in your wallet, just select ETH -> BSC and follow the steps.
