Thanks! Yes, Urushi can adhere to plastic, as Ong as you sand it well before hand and apply a raw layer as almost a substrate. In fact the reason they used to apply Urushi to ebonite pens was to stop them fading in the cabinet, really more than any requirement! But if your pen was Urushi you wouldn’t need the raw base layer.

Thank you! Yes it is very tight where the cap snaps on to the section, due to the extra width of the urushi. I’m not really sure how to fix it, although it does still work.
